This the light version while the full ship classes version will be a separate optional download of a different mod.txt

Currently, the problems are game bugs getting in the way of the mod working perfectly as supposed to. Virtually all bugs from at least 0.14.11 still applies.

Known issues:

  • A lot of new effects and animation are not working or are inflicted with a few game bugs. However, they do not impact on part function in anyway. So things work.
  • Fusion beam: a game bug that makes it no longer use power.
  • Proxy bug: Walt fixed something related to proxies (probably with crashes relating to destroyed parts) which now seem to be more broken than before. All parts using proxies to access other parts are potentially broken which includes all kind of supply and transfer parts: supply corridors, nodes, transporters etc..
  • Due to unknown game bug the Tech5 bridge has been downgraded. It works just not having advanced features.
  • Part repair with toolkits is not working due to storage issues. This is unfixable without having to edit all parts and no other mods would be able to use it.
  • For unknown reasons (many guesses) supply corridors don't seem to work randomly with some parts (vanilla large thruster) for no apparent reasons. Likely a result of recent changes to proxy handling of the game.
  • DeathByTargetProximity crashes. For unknown reasons this could cause crashes with gravity-, energy- mines. Escalayer, Fleet ballistic, Excalibur and anti-missile missile don't seem to crash, though.
  • Lasers blaster shots for some reason the bouncing feature (0.14.6) is no longer working.
  • Cosmoteer 0.150 RC1 game bug with storage calculation when weapon firing uses up all making it have 0.

For the full version use this to replace the standard light version with the full "mod.txt" version. This should allow you to access separate ship classes.

As my attempt at completing last years bio parts failed again most of the new things ended up being more toward RP and or aesthetic, though, they are very much functional.

  • bio reactor for recycling and generating biomass (food) and power
  • various gas production, recycling / filtration / recovery systems
  • (old) aesthetic diagonal thrusters, originally abandoned but revived due to requests; boosted, stack-, buff-able; it only morphs when stacked
  • bottom BSG railgun turret
  • strategy room as part of the compound bridge system; can serve for administrative purposes; currently RP part
  • aquatic habitat part of the aquatic environment system
  • aquatic_cockpit with dolphine pilot; RP part
  • room_wedge2; replaces or phasing out the years old room_wedge as that system's function is impossible to realize
  • laser reflective armor; reflects laser (see original post) and ion beams while taking 10% to 50% damage respectively

Food? what does food do what are its effects on the crew can you explain this to me.

    blackcat123456789034 Currently, nothing. Since, vanilla is unlikely to support this (it's been two years) I'll unlock survival mode for Abh via an add-on mod soonish. That way I can keep Abh open for vanilla support.

    This mod version will be made compatible with Cosmoteer 0.15 so the current WIP is technically abandoned until the release comes out.

      the textures of the latest modules look very bad. Sorrow...

        The industrial parts are realistically correct so I'm not going to do much if ever. The diagonal thrusters are more for aesthetic so I don't have plans to change the roofs either. And it's already a month after release and I'm onto the next iteration of updates.

          Lafiel changed the title to Abh Mod v0.6.9 for Cosmoteer 0.15.0.

            I don't expect much changes now so I'm feeling confident and releasing 0.6.9.
            If there are changes between the current Cosmoteer 0.15.0 RC1 and the release version then I'll make the adjustment if they are indeed necessary.

                It seems the "Antiproton Cannon2" is crashing with Cosmoteer 0.15.0 RC1 for unknown reasons when firing in pulse mode. I hope it's just the RC1 version.

                  It seems to be a storage calculation bug on the game engine side. When the weapon fires the consumption is subtracted and then it probably crashes with a follow up check. Simply increasing capacity and preventing the storages from becoming 0 prevent it from crashing.
                  So it's a game bug. I've uploaded the hot fix for it. However, note this bug could hit any weapon that happen to use up all of a storage.

                      fion9x3owns For some reason the file was corrupted. This is similar to before. It seems mediafire has some problems. I've re-uploaded the file.

                      I've uploaded a hotfix to make the mod not crash with Kroom's Forge.
                      He opened the pandora's box of modding! causing incompatibility with vanilla stats. 😆

                          I add PNG directly to ships folder, none appear in the game, what i do wrong ?

                            fion9x3owns The ships's folder is located at users\username\Documents\My Games\Cosmoteer\Saved Ships the subfolder names can be anything you want just avoid too exotic characters.
                            The ships can only be loaded in creative mod, MP, or bought in Bounty Hunter game but won't spawn as enemies.
                            You look for them like how you normally open and look for your ships. If they are in a subfolder then click on the small arrows and or hamburger button to open up more choices or to navigate the folders.
                            Ship save files must be in the format: name.ship.png
                            The name can be anything even having it's own format like [Lafiel] test.ship.png
