TheRainmaker (gearshift48 )
The corridor entered by one of the orbs and, following it, the Cresent Empire soldiers, is once again a dimly lit one, made of some kind of warped, black metal, seemingly stretching through the walls up into the ceiling. Small slits can be seen, but those are likely for thermal dilations and nothing more.
Following the corridor however, after turning left and then turning right, they encounter themselves in a hall of two of what appears to be mirrowed corridors, though showing no reflection! Upon closer inspection, however, it is shown that it is simply two corridors separated by some kind of reinforced, darkened glass, onwards a bit after turning right at the end of this hall, there seems to be two passage-ways, one that goes foward into a kind of red-ish lit room, and another corridor that turns left.

As the Orb cautiously goes down its fears are proven, a wave of radiation to make the geiger counter turn into a static noise, wish some kind of magnetic effect as well. Though curiously enough, the effects that the orb suffers, mainly some of its systems malfunctioning, aren't as heavy as the currents would prove. The Orb, if its depth meter still worked, would point that there was a bridge about 800 meters down, with the same characteristics as the outlook it was on top then. Perhaps dashing to it would provide protection before it inevitably fell to the dark abyss as a lump of dead metal.
