I like both the shield design for the gun and the roof change, and I had a question on if you'd be willing to make one or both of two weapon ideas I had; at present, there's only two real options for the 'Electro Bolt' style of weapon (vanilla's an yours) and I thought a little variety would be interesting.
Ion Bolter: A shorter-ranged (50 range or so) but fast-firing variant of the Electro Bolt. Has the same footprint as a small Cannon. Has lower damage and energy drain.
Flux Beamer: A very long-ranged (120 range or so) and slow-firing variant of the Electro bolt. Has the same footprint as the Ion Beam Emitter, but has a 'turret' on the front that can swivel in a 30 degree arc. Has much higher damage+Edrain than the Electro Bolt, but also uses up a lot more energy per shot to fire.
I just find that everyone makes lasers, beamers, missiles or cannons, and a few Electro Bolt variants would be interesting to add in.
