"Accursed-- CENTAURI, I DOTH REQ--"
Capella cuts himself off mid-sentence as he sees Centauri pinned by a cluster of wolves.
"...Far be the thought, I shalt off 'im myself." He kneels and thrusts his sword downward on the wolf biting his leg, then rolls out of the way of any further wolves attempting to get the jump on him.
Centauri seems to have activated something within its drone body. Its arms and all three eyes begin glowing, and then it shunts off the wolves that were pinning it with a telekinetic wave from the crystal on its body.
One of the wolves appeared to be flying towards Capella, so he tried to slice it in twain, but with his damaged leg, his form was slightly askew.
"Capella, run back to base and prepare to--"
"My left thigh has't buckled, I cannae make haste thither!"
"Then allow me to assist" Osiron states as it glows once more.
"'Ey?!" was all Antony could manage before he too was thrown backward, towards the base.
Centauri continued to power up and combine plasma fire with telekinetic pressure to pick its targets through the crowds of canines, now running backward in an attempt to keep distance between the wolves.
Antares felt it before he could scold the seemingly young creature for disobeying his "suggestion." Centauri was definitely not keeping a curb on his psionic power, and therefore something terribly wrong must have happened. Then something familiar fell face first near the direction of the clearing the Scouts headed off to. The Fog would have masked Capella quite nicely if it wasn't for Antares sensing his signal.
Light damage to the lower left leg armor and slight crack to the headpiece Rhick appraised in his cpu, Left lower leg actuator slightly crushed, significant mobility decrease... Condition orange.
"TURRET! MAD WOLVES! LET LOOS' THINE VOLLEY!"
Rhick allowed the turret to turn around and initiate automated sentry protocols, attacking any unregistered creature that nears the outpost (except the newest creatures, who are as of now registered into the database of creatures with unknown intent). Any wolves that come near are assaulted by repeated, high caliber rounds of magnetic fire.
Meanwhile, he turns to Arcturus. "I have to keep our friends from breaking - and scold Centauri later. You keep an eye on these creatures - at first sign of trouble, you neutralize them however you see fit. Understood?"
"Affirmative, though I don't see how--"
"All I need is an affirmative, Arcturus."
Rhick charges to defend, and Duro is left looking down at the creatures. He tucks in his feet and gets on his knees, lowering himself to seem less threatening, and holds his axe firmly to his lap. "It almost seems as though you are incapable of harming any one of us even if you tried" he muses to himself, quietly.
