A medium-sized DC ship enters the system, very, VERY far from the planet. So far away, that if any were to look up in the general direction of this ship from the planetside, they would only see a brighter-than-normal star. Onboard, many worried Androids of varying types are in assembly at both Command Centers of the Champion-Class Destroyer - a briefing is currently in progress.
"All who are present, we are approaching the epicenter of this cataclysmic event. I can feel that everyone here is filled with terror and unease - the same feelings we Core-AI felt as the wave hit some of our bretheren and silenced, or scrambled, their signals. Two Core-AI have been lost to this event, and two others have grown irrational and are destabilizing. The Collective is taking this very seriously, and they have finally authorized an investigation into the source of this matter. This is likely a very dangerous operation, and the chosen Sim-Program units are not likely to survive, but they are some of the best the Collective has, and if we are to gain any information on how to further prevent such events, it is through these four - and now..."
The videoscreens flicker, and four different readouts of Androids are shown:

The view then transfers to the Transportation bay, where the four Androids as well as a few deployable machines probably meant for the setup of a small outpost are readied.
"We have been graced with a viable entry point even at this range, and we are taking the initiative. The plan is to gather as much information about this 'Cataclysmic Power' as possible, and if able, prevent a second occurrence from ever happening. Extreme caution is advised from this point forward, brave souls. Go, for the Collective!"
The objects disappear in bright flashes of light.
...
Bright, Magenta portals flash open only for a moment, far from any civilization but close to wherever the predicted focal point of the event is as possible. In place of the portals are the four Androids sent down from their ship, as well as some facilities for a small outpost, yet to be unpacked and deployed.
"Defenses up! Preliminary scans in progress" Antares announces to the others.
Each android emits a sort of defensive screen - even the largest of the Androids which seems to be about twice their size, a forcefield is projected around his chassis in a bluish hue - and cautiously take in their current surroundings...
