Shortly after he sits, Hermione appears at the door and walks in.
"Good morning, I am sorry I overslept."
"Hello Mama!"
Jasper peers at the Ambassador again.
"Oh, I forgot to say, a cab will pick you up in about half an hour for your audience with the Mer-King, is that all right?"

He looks nervously at Heinrich, takes off his glasses, wipes them in his coat, then replaces them. His assistant taps his arm.
"I think we should tell him doc-"
"Shut up James!!"
He stands staring nervously at Heinrich for a few more seconds, then...
"Ach! Alright! I did vont a corpse, but I assure you my motives are pure, I am conducting very interesting research that I require a cadaver for, zhey are not somesink you can just pull out of zhe air you know."

Now that he's speaking German again, Heinrichs accent seems to seep through again..

Unfortunately, there appears to be nothing of interest in the books, and Nurian spends quite some time ascertaining this, as there are a lot of painfully small entries... However just as he is about to leave, he notices an odd connection between several entries, in the death records it appears there have been a recent string of deceased with cause of death, "extreme blood loss", and no other notes, this would not have caught his eye, were it not for the fact that there has been reguarly one recorded case every two months... for the past three hundred or so!

It appears to be very greasy food, two rashers of some indeterminate meat along with a yellowish slice of something that appears to be made of some sort of dairy product, there are also two round slices of brown toast.

He gets a knife and cuts what is most likely cheese, then eats it (the cheese).

Tson dark storm and lance being metallic don’t seem to care about it too much. Dominick and Ethan are slightly frantic in finding a place not covered in rain to hide. As movement is heard, they freeze and look around. We see... somthing and we stare blankly not understanding what it/ who he is

...Nurian moved over the corresponding entries a few more times, then he frowned, the image of the scanned "box" in the cellar and the bloodtraces came to mind, then he sighed, mumbling...
"Vampires? ...Vampires."
There were a few other possibilities as well, like this Dr. Earhart, though this was the most obvious one...
He put the book back to it´s original place and continued thinking, the question was now likeky wether they were the cause of the issues, as they certainly profited from the odd events, it covered up their own activities and the rainstorm blocked out most of the sunlight should they be of the kind which is allergic to it...
...or wether they were just another victim like the rest of these.
He headed out of the library and passed Cecil on his way out...
"I am finished in the Library, thank you for your assistence."
Once he was out of the hall he headed to north street to find the woman with the three arms, he also remembered, that 'Mr Foresham' could also be the one who jumped over the rooftops last night...

The voice comes from the entrance hall of the Mortuary, and the guard is standing up, drawing his sword.
"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM HERE YOU BLOODY LUNATIC!"
Dr Earhart jumps about a foot in the air.
"Ach Verdammt... I must be going, nice to see you."
He turns and runs down the corridor, his assistant following him, their white coats trailing in their wake, the guard then seems to see the others for the first time.
"Who the hell are you?"

Silence descends upon the breakfast table as Jasper turns back to his paper, after the Ambassador has finished, Berthold appears and cleans away the plates, leaving Sophia's bowl as she is still poking unenthusiastically at the contents with her spoon. Hermione notices this.
"Eat your porridge Sophia there's a good girl"
"Don't like it."
Jasper peers over his glasses.
"Of course you do, and it's good for you. You can't get down until you finish eating."
He stands up, walking over to the Ambassador.
"Well then old man, I think the cab should be here soon, I'm going to come down to the town with you, I have some business to attend to, let's be going what?"

The track wound through the trees, thunder rumbling distantly overhead, and eventually begun to lead up onto a plateau high above the jungle below, there is a city built on a hill barely visible in the distance...
