"A room for me, those two can decide for themselves, so you will have to ask them. I will leave tomorrow at five, but we will stay another night."
...he stood up and walked to the stairs, turning his head briefly towards the cloaked figure as he passed by, scanning the newcomer for anomalies...

Blak smiles at the Barman.
"We'll have a room for two ple-"
"Ye'll hae two sangles aend lik et, an' if'n i'sn hear any shananigans ye're oot, word fram the Mayor or no."
The barman snaps this at Blak, and he looks like he has just been bitten.
"Ah- er, ok, sorry..."
"I'm all in, i'm going to go to bed, see you tomorrow then Adolphus."
They clasp hands, staring at each other warmly, then She'la walks to the stairs.
"Sec'n rum oan the righ."
The barkeeper looks back at Blak.
"And yours I'n the thrid."
"Rightio, well I guess I'll be off then."
He looks at the Lupidirans
"Goodbye my friends, I may see you on the morrow."

"My coin's good, it's solid gold. Or are you questioning my honor, sir?"
All of a sudden, she seems to loom large, every inch a insulted noble despite her travel-worn appearance.

As Nurian observes the newcomer arguing with the barkeep, he sees just the faintest flicker of light playing around her hands...

Like other things beforehand he mentally noted that the newcomer was yet another outsider, likely hidden under a sort of cloaking field, but did nothing in regard to that, simply heading up to his room...
He closed the door behind him and extinguished all lightsources (unless there was a seperate fireplace in the room) and stood at the window all night, if one would´ve seen him it´d have looked as if he was mentally absent, while still observing everything that happened outside until the next morning...

The barman sighs, picking up the coin and holding it upright between finger and thumb, looking at her.
"Thus coin, taisn' gud roun here, I'sn daesn't recognise et, aen I'sn nuvver haerd o' any currency except Gech an' whorever thae Mer currency is, which aint thus. Do ye knae I could gut in serious trouble fer takin bad money."
He places it down on the bar again.
"I cannae tek it. Tis nae gud."

After about an hour of walking, Jerald comes upon a road winding north through the jungle, it seems to be used fairly frequently.

He scratches his chin.
"Well I reckon they would be in the mortuary, that's down East street. Though I don't know weather they would have got there this fast."

"Ah, shit, almost forgot."
He turns to John..
"We need your bodies as well.. You know where they are kept?"

Heinrich grabbed the hatchet and stuffed it into his belt..
"I say we wait out the night, then tomorrow morning one of you ghosties flies in there to check, since they cant see you. If they're there, Lagertha and I will sneak in and get the bodies out."

She growls in fury. "That's one hundred percent gold, and I'd wager much that your local coin is far from pure. But if you're going to be a bore about it..."
She reached into her purse again and withdrew a small handful of gleaming emeralds and sapphires, all cut to a radiant edge, and spills them carelessly on the counter. "A week's worth of lodgings, and all of this plus the coins are yours. Melt those down for all I care."

The barkeeper takes two of the jewels, then sweeps the others, along with the coin, back toward her.
"Thaet'll do. I daesna need nae more. Whut'll yae be havin' tae drink?"

Heinrich follows him back inside..
"Where's the best option to hide for when the Sergeant knocks?"

She sighs and shakes her head. "Never mind about the drink now. I'll take my rest."
She grabs the rest of the jewels and the room key and heads upstairs and tumbles into bed and falls asleep.

He points to a door under the stairs.
"Hide in there if he comes, I doubt he'll check inside, he's probably just making sure people are aware of it."
There is the sound of voices approaching outside, then a knock at the front door.

Lagertha and Heinrich hide under the stairs, kneel down and start meditating. They could keep this up for several days...

He laughs, and shakes the hand.
"Very kind of you old man, I bid you good night."
He leaves the room and the Ambassador can hear him making his way up the stairs.

The rain beats down mercilessly on the towns of Zagt and Gostck, thunder rolling across the sky throughout the night, an occasional flash of lightening illuminating the sky...

At about 2 AM Nurian hears stealthy footsteps in the corridor, and the opening and closing of a door, at 3 AM he sees a figure jumping across the rooftops about three streets away, then jump down out of sight. Then, at 3:22 AM, he hears a loud crashing sound in the hall outside...

The Ambassador heads to the lybrary, to search for books that might help him on his quest, related to what he experienced earlier in the way to the town.

The library is a large room, filled with shelves that you would need a small ladder to reach the top of, and indeed, there are several small sets of steps on runners that can be moved along the shelves to aid with this, though the Ambassador probably needs no such thing himself.
He searches through the shelves, there are many books here, detailing everything from the sciences to the biology of this planet, interestingly these people, though they seem primitive at present, have a fairly advanced understanding of the sciences, possibly due to the information they would have brought with them when the first colonists founded their civilization.
He finds several books of interest, one entitled "On The Theorem Of Mental Projection And It's Place In Modern Society", another called "Folk Stories: A Collection By Doctor Ernest Shortfather, Volume 1." and a third about the Geographic and Geological makeup of the planet including maps that has a name so long and complex that it makes his head hurt just looking at it. However none of the other books really seem to be relevant.

As he stands up, he hears a crash again, it is from the first door on the left as you come up the stairs, and he sees it bow outwards slightly before springing back, creaking.

At 3.30 am Nurian leaves his room, unchanged, he left a note below She'las´ door stating that he would be waiting outside once they were finished in the inn, before leaving the inn entirely, He silently headed off along the way which the noises went, with his hood on, while looking around for any changes...
As he moved he stayed on guard, listening for any noises and occasionally looking around with the nightvision active...

Nurian halted infront of the first door, contemplating on what to do, eventually deciding against knocking on it, instead he moved his hand under his clothes and pulled out a small object, about as thin as paper and two centimetres in diameter, hexagonal in shape and pressed it against an unuspicious place from from which the upper side was facing towards the door...
A few moments later he took his finger away and the object had attached itself to the wall and imitated the texture and visuals of the background, making it almost completely invisible to people that didn´t know what to look for...
Then he headed downstairs continuing what he formerly planned on doing...

The Ambassador takes the books of interest up to the study, and reads them. The true nature of its being makes reading each page a task that takes less than 10 seconds, like some sort of photographic memory. However, this comes at the cost of re-routing a certain percentage of his energetic capabilities through his brain, or the closest things he has to that, he somewhat looses the notion of his surroudings being so absorbed in the processing of the information.

He was just placing the device on the door, when the one which he had observed buckling, burst outward, clipping him and knocking him backward into the wall opposite, and something comes barreling out, it is large, lumpen, and moaning, limbs of indeterminate description flailing , something punches into the wall next to Nurian's head, creating a cracked hole in the plaster...

Velkas is awoken by a commotion in the corridor, there is a loud crash, followed by a moaning sound.

...Nurian turned on the spot and then jumped away from whatever just left the door behind him, using the doorframe to push himself further away, the jump was aimed at the staircase, rolling down and landing on the lower floor should it be successful, faster than a normal humanoid should be anatomically able to, all while trying to get a good view of what this thing actually was...
