...Nurian looks up to the statue for a few moments, scanning it with the devices hidden in the plates used to cover his actual eyecolor, then he walked up to one of the doors and knocked a few times...

He laughs.
"I'sn reckon ye's cauld get awa' wi murder an nae one'd suspect yae. Whaer aer ye planning oan staying tonight by the wa?"

There is no answer to the knocks, though strangely when he scans the statue, the scanner detects something that shouldn't be there...
Blood.
There are very small traces of human blood on the statue, under the ragged wings where the rain has not quite penetrated...

"Oh dear... well we can hardly call you that all the time."
He looks thoughtful.
"How is it you don't have a name then?"
The room they walk into is plushly furnished, and has a great, roaring fire, the picture of a stately living room.

The city can be seen in the distance as they mount the plateau, and the eerie feeling fades, soon they are approaching the gates, large, and ominous.

Lagertha awakes, mid scream. Her eyes focus on a ceiling, her body feels red raw, and her leg hurts sharply. There is someone leaning over her, though her vision is fuzzy, and she feels weak.
Also, she cannot feel her powers...

The ashen-haired girl's dreams were confusing and unnatural, she wanted to awaken, but could not, her expression strained, her leg in a 90° angle.. to the outside...

Heinrich had it a lot worse, his mental training had prepared him for these kinds of moments, but everytime he was hit by a mind-rape, it was hell on earth again...

The Ambassador's eyes widen as he can definetly sense what has just happened with the GSR, no doubt a disturbance of such magnitude would make it over to him, and catch his attention, but he chose to ignore it, seeing as he is clearly un-fit to fight against such powers that have the obvious advantage over him, he stands there idle for about 1minute, then starts talking again:

"Uhm, I... don't have a name? Best thing I have is this..."

He points to his dark-gray suit, the color broken by a small, white writing that says: AMBASSADOR UNIT A-01

After glancing around, one of the pair, a brunette in super heavy armor, huffs.
"We're not getting anything done standing around looking tough. Orbital said the nearest city is a couple dozen miles east. Let's get going."

Her companion just shakes her head fondly and follows her as she smashes her way through the undergrowth.

...Nurian knocks another time "Aye, mister mayor, ya there? Am a hunter coming from th´ woods, there´ve been some issues, I wanna talk ´bout." ...he ran a few comparisons and extrapolated the approximate look of the creature this blood would probably belong to from the DNA structure, checking wether it was blood of the natives, from some sort of animal, or from one of the other visitors...

The Ambassador sits down on one of the chairs, looking at the lively fireplace:
"Well... you see, I... don't really know? I know that I wasn't born, I was created, but I've only the faintest memory of who created me, and they didn't leave anything but this tag..."

α's ears seem to flatten down to the sides of her head, seemingly somewhat embarrased by the idea of being seen like a child to everyone else, despite being the highest ranking Lupidiran there is. δ just silently laughs at her reaction, seemingly more amused by the idea.
???-δ: "haha... well we planned on coming here to ask you about that actually... We don't really know anywhere to stay for the night other than here. But as said before... We don't really have anything to pay you with."

The more armored of the pair stops at the height of the plateau.
"Alright, I'll hold here in case you need fire support. I know I don't exactly blend into the background, and there's no use scaring the locals if we don't have to."

A soft laugh from the other. "Take care of yourself, Kelat. I'd hate to have to find another heavy hitter."

"Me? What about you? You're going right into the damn place. Now get your ass moving while there's still daylight."

She laughs again and pauses to pull a cloak out of a bag and use the camouflage on her armor to make it look like traveling clothes. "Wish me luck."

Several hours later, a figure in a cloak comes walking up to the city gates.

From instinct she immediately tries to throat punch him, but she is too weak.. he hand merely makes it half way before it falls down again..
"Wo... Was...."
She pauses and grits her teeth together...
"Where am I?... Who are you?"

The voice is in Nurian's left ear, from behind him.

He turned around looking at who had spoken, before he started talking...

It is a young man of about twenty, he is pale, with black short hair, and wears a blue velvet waistcoat with a white cravat, the gold chain of a pocket watch clearly visible in his top pocket, he smiles, slightly unnervingly.
"I am Baron Cedric Von Utarefson, the mayor of this humble city, would you like to come inside? Or would you prefer to talk out here?"

He looks deep in thought again.
"I was going to suggest a "Nickname" I believe the working fellows call it, however it is hard to extrapolate a name from that..."

"Dasnae matter, I'sn enjoyed thaes talk, Yae can stay here fer nothin, I'sn aint fully booked anyroads."

..."Aye, let´s go ´nside please, if ya don´ mind sir, been walking through ´hat rain long ´nough."
He still waited on the result of the DNA on the statues...
In the meanwhile he scanned the man seeing if there were any anomalies on him...

δ turns their head to look at α.
???-δ: "You know, i think you must have met some really bad people to have gotten the impression that you have of humans."

???-α: "Ha... N-no... not really... I just know they can be capable of... being rather reckless sometimes..."

He steeples his fingers.
"Any suggestions?"

The man looks at him oddly, and opens the door.
"Please, follow me."
They walk into a black and white marble tiled entrance hall, there are staircases to either side leading up to a landing with a balustrade, that looks over the entrance hall. The hall is empty, though there is a desk that is no doubt used for reception during the day. The baron turns to Nurian, a look of mock thoughtfulness on his face.
"Tell me, mr Hunter from the woods, why do I get the feeling that you are bad news?"
The DNA trace suddenly matches... with residue on Cedric!

The gates stand, large, ominous, and most importantly, closed. There is a small door in the left one, that has a smaller hatch in it at eye level.

The woman stops for a minute, then rolls her eyes and marches up and knocks firmly on the gate three times.

Nurian noted the match without showing any reaction and then continued talking... " Aye, mister...errr Cedric? Is ´hat fine if I call you ´at? I mean, I did say there´s been some kinda problem in th´ woods and ´m not comin from your city, so I guess it´s jus´natural to think ´hat, wouldn´ be th´ first time."
He scratched his head...
" Oh ´n I lost mah purse on th´ way ´ere so ´ad some issues payin. Now I gotta head out huntin again before I can return home, won´ get far without supllies, I guess. Had some pretty nasty meetin with some large hairy thing in th´ woods and wanted to ask ya if there´s anything else poor old me shoulda watch out for, heard from th´guard there´s been some preeetty weird folks aroun´ town ´n last few days..."
He had a somewhat clueless look on his face but closely watched the reaction of the Baron...

The small hatch opens, and an eye is applied to the hole.
"Whae as et? What dae ye waent?"

"You took a pretty bad tumble, it looked like you fell off the roof, what on earth were you doing up there?"
It is a woman's voice, and Lagertha's eyes focus somewhat, the woman is staring down at her worriedly.
She appears to be in a living room, lying on a wooden couch with a few pillows propping her head up.
"You just lie there and rest, I'm going to have to put a spint on that leg of yours, looks like it has snapped."

"By all means, would you like to come into my office?"
He smiles thinly, and there is no warmth behind it.

"Thaet bae th' understatement o' the year laddie and I'll tell yae that fer nothin."
There is a loud bang and a howl of wind as someone enters, then the Inn door closes again, two figures walk up to the bar, shaking rain off themselves. The barkeeper turns to them.
"E'enin gen- bae huvvens it's anuther one!"
She'la and Blak look at him in confusion...
