The game runs smooth as water when playing and all that jazz. but whenever its time for space war the game lags. I dont have the best pc, but it can run Arma3 and CSGO as high fps. but for some reason this game lags, and is much less hardware demanding. is it the coding? my friend has a high grade pc with a 1080, and he has the same problems with space battles. its only when we have a fight using our ships.

Oddie23110 It's how the game mechanics works so yes. The crew and other computations are CPU intense. Collision has been optimized again so it's "better" now.

Lafiel Now loading Cosmofine and i had read through the top few posts on that forum post. but I understand that the game will lag as i like to make a play with absolute massive ships, so im not fussed about that. and the massive ships see little no lag drop when manoeuvring and flying. its just when blasters and turrets start firing that i see drop, same for my friend.
Lafiel cosmofine doesnt work for me... it caused it to lag more...

Oddie23110 I am gonna take a guess here, and say that you are looking at the crew. Don't use the crew for a reference in performance when it comes to cosmofine - they are jerky because of decreased renders/second, because crew are actually one of the most intensive things in the game. Instead, look at your actual FPS (it can be enabled in misc settings), and test how well you can run large ships. Cosmofine making the game lag more is theoretically impossible, because it does literally nothing but reduction
On a separate note, what are your PC specs? If you have an unusually low CPU clock speed, and/or are running mods, that might explain it
It wasnt the crew, I only suffer lag when it comes to fighting with the big ships. I thought this mod would help, but it made it worst

Oddie23110 Is there any way that you can record a comparison? If you really are getting worse performance than without the mod (somehow), then it would be essential for me to know what is going on to prevent it in the future. Also, are you using any other mods at the same time?

I don't have a very powerful computer. And this game freezes for me too. And I really like video games. Especially team games. I remember playing the old Counter-Strike 1.6 with all my friends. We used to get together in online clubs and play for hours. But not many of them play now. And even now I prefer watching the game. I often follow tournaments, and I'm into eSports in general. I also bet from time to time. Recently I made a very big bet after watching a match prediction. And the bet played, I went to esports results and took my winnings.
