This version continues with adding long overdue parts delayed for various reasons and still not done yet. This version offers 699 parts! It has some adjustments for the new direct control feature mainly pure missile parts.

This version is not compatible with earlier Cosmoteer versions!

If you got a weak/old computer or have a low amount of RAM use this to replace the standard "mod.txt". This should allow you to load and play with Abh.

The list of new parts will be completed next week.

  • Emita cannon is complete except the animation part doesn't work. It has been eluding to work properly and for some reason completely invisible in this version.
  • The phaser turret is complete but might need some adjustment for stats
  • romulan singularity reactor; only 4 can be build on a ship
  • borg tractor beam; can damage enemy shields and intercept incoming fire to a certain extend
  • internal impulse drive building system parts consist of the impulse thruster (aka impulse driver coil assembly), the new fusion reactor; impulse engine room; and impulse control unit; and alternatively the new classic warp core engine room. All parts can be used independently for their main or other side purposes, but combined creates the most powerful impulse drives. There are numerous possible combinations and augmentations by using other buffing parts (plasma injector; computer). In order to keep the number of parts low the roofs of the impulse thruster and fusion reactor can be adjusted to give a visual resemblance to different shaped external exhaust designs. It's not perfect but better than having to create 144 individual parts or 432 graphical arrangement components. Instead it's only 51.

      Could you add a Battlestar's main weapon to the ABH mod please because I have some battlestar shaped ships and it doesn't feel right to put on other types of weapons when they could be modded in

      CaptainDale Roof turrets weapons had always been the aim from the start but also always been lowest priority as they are just the same functionally. Abh is a function and option mod so the earliest point where I would even start is maybe 2 months from now. I would be juggling it among 100 parts/upgrades (that have been in limbo) plus x new games changes. I'm not against it but it's not happening anytime soon. However, if the sprites are readily available I could do it in a day or two at most.

        Lafiel ok that is I would like because I have some battlestars using the mini railguns but they dont exactly have the needed punch to be a weapon for the Battlestar Galactica.

          CaptainDale I've changed release plans a bit due to game issues and spritting. I'll get to it soonish as in the next release which might be done weekend/next week. If you got requests it's best to do them in one go so I can plan better.
