The chips in the Soldier's brains allows them a few seconds to awe the sight, then it overrides the feeling and replaces it with determination. The determination burns in their minds and they focus once again. Their strong wills allow them to carry on.

A whining sound fills the air as their weapons power up to full, a purple light battling the white and golden light.

A couple of Soldiers load a grappling device, one of them going on one knee, the other shoving a canister into the barrel. The soldiers aim it at the betrayer and will only use it if they absolutely have to.

The soldiers stop running and come to a halt about 25 meters away from the figure, very much in firing range. The officer's sword glows blue as he takes a step forward from the line of soldiers.

"Betrayer, this is the Xorxian Empire. Give yourself up now and you will not be hurt! Resistance will be met with force. You have ten seconds to respond or you will be presumed to be hostile."

The Betrayer swung the sword into the heart of The Anvil, piercing the white sphere, the white light engulfed part of the blade as its ghyphs and runes began shining violently, then... a violent explosion, a burst in the epicenter of the core, shining outwards a kaleidoscope of colors, it shook the whole megastructure.

The explosion of the wave of colors knocked most soldiers to the ground, a few standing on their knees, as the walls creeked and the golden bridge's edges burned, a malestrom of tormentous plasma lashed out its anger unto the walls of the containement, the fuel injectors and energy extractors crying metallic screeches of agony, almost being ripped out of the walls by the very thing they were made to control.

The soldiers' training kicked in, as multiple projectiles that ranged from plasma to hooks made to ensnare the target shot towards the darkened figure, but to most of the soldiers' desmay, they deflected off of the strong plasma winds and gravitational influences of the wrathful core consuming the projectiles, making them instantly vanish. The weapons of the subjects within that hall are flung from their hands in tremendous violence, and, some mere centimeters from the golden platform, they burn to a crisp before being completely consumed by the heat of the burning forge.

And so the soldiers lie there, witnessing the darkened figure's rip in the white core expanding, until it completely envelops them, as the rip expands the soldiers are overflown with emotions, crying and shaking uncontrollably as they fall into a deep coma, not to be woken up in any time but days, to not remember anything from the past hours. However, one of the soldiers resists the onslaught of sentiments, like a sailor gasping for air as he descends deeper into Davy Jones' locker, the soldier fights with all his might, desperatly clinging into the last bit of sanity and concioussness that still remains within his head, his senses overloading as he's finally able to stand his ground, only to yet again open his eyes, to a sight of all his comrades knocked out on the floor, bathing in a pool of their own tears and saliva.

The omnious figure stares at the center, the white glow is reflected on their eyes... It is almost, hypnotizing.

All that they ever lived for the past centuries, all that they have done to this very moment, is present right here, at The Anvil. All, within their grasp, yet so far away thanks to their persuers.

They look back for a second at their persuers, but act like they aren't there, since only a second later...

They extend their sword, as a smile is present on their face, and with extreme speed, they stab the core in a violent, yet controlled way, as they whsiper a last sentence... One that the persuers can barely pick on.

"Once the darkness consumes the dusk of the setting suns, crawl for the comfort of the light!"

"I repeat, Give yourself up now and you will not be hurt! Resistance will be met with force. You have ten seconds to respond or you will be presumed to be hostile."

The Soldiers' weapons are trained on the figure. The slightest movement will send multiple Plasma shots right into the betrayer.

Ha ha no. They wouldn't fire in that situation due to the possibility of self harm and it's highly likely they'd throw their impulse grenades and jump out of that situation (which btw, wouldn't be effected by plasma winds or anything like that).

And also, you forgot the chips. They would automatically swing into action, overriding and overwriting the emotions, heck, even restarting their brains. They probably would be thrown into a coma, but they would NOT be overwhelmed by an extreme amount of emotions, no matter what causes them.

I do not agree with this in any shape, way or form.

While The Betrayer dissapeared, time slows down for a particular soldier, one that is the closest to the event.

Thousends of images flow inside his mind, too much for him to process. Things that will happen, and things that happen at this very moment. Thousends of feelings, ones he has never felt before... Darkness and despair, hope and courage.

Of those thousends of images, he only remembers few...

He sees 7 white towers stand tall, with no end in sight. But to his surprise, things began to turn... Dark? A feeling of despair fills his body has black cracks become visable on the towers, and they slowly began to crumble... And then, fall...

He also sees billions of floating beings in a grey area, flooting... He can breath, yet it is like he is underwater, being able to swim? Between them, he sees a grey round piece, looking like it is part of a puzzle?

He sees an image of an infinity symbol, one with many meanings... Beared by key individuals.

He sees a checkboard, with 2 hands moving pieces around...

But, most importantly, they see a door, with an interesting design, with 3 pieces missing, part of a puzzle. One on the top, one on the bottom, and one in the middle, 3 round pieces, missing... He felt that the door was important, and must be opened, as it holds many secrets...

All these images flashed before his eyes...

And he began to hear a whisper, one not from the Betrayer, and from unknown origin... "Once the darkness consumes the dusk of the setting suns, crawl for the comfort of the light..."

The chips all drop offline, then reboot, restarting the Clones' brains. A few of them are able to get up and by sheer willpower, they drag their fallen comrades, the ones that are still in a coma, away. The ones that were far back with the grappling device aren't too hurt or damaged or anything, just knocked and a little bit shocked, but their chips come back online, reinstating control over them. The suit filters deal with the excess liquid inside of their suits, sending a short spray of liquid out the back of every soldier

They exit the core wearily, as the other group that went to the hospital await them beyond the corridor. They take the still asleep soldiers and the entire group make their way back to the transporters. As the soldiers are loaded back up into the pods, a few of them waking up again, only to be put to sleep by the stasis pods. But the sleep is natural and their brains slowly heal. The memories of the event, stored by the chips, will remain there. Never shall they remember it again.

But as the transports eject from the docking points, the officer remembers.

And he knows.

The Xor fleet jump out as the transporters join up with them once again.

"Do not question the Anvil."

Is the only thing muttered by the priest, as he takes his stand beside a larger golden door, on the opposite side of the spinning globe. This door is composed of many small slivers of metal, composed in an amplitude of arcs, interestingly enough, those fall within each other, completing a gap in the floor and revealing a sizeable semi-circular room.

The room has 4 golden arcs, large in size, and in the in-between are located weird pannels of glass, purely white with specks of purple populating the background, that move in uncanny parallax as the soldiers thread further into the room. A small river flows on the circunference of the semi-circle, and in the circle in the center stands a golden table standing on 4 golden arc feet, its top seemingly floating.

Behind it is a not so aged man, dressed in adornments of white and gold, his age is not great, but one thing is noticeable, half of his face is gone, replaced by some sort of trapezoidal metal slab that diagonally splits his head almost in half, a sliver of yellow light in the place that should be the eye.

Sit down my dear guests. We have important matters to discuss.

He motions his semi-mechanical arm in an arc manner with the palm of his hand open and facing the cupola that apexes the ceiling. To which the ground itself answers generating chairs from some circular slits found in the ground pattern, that blended in so well it was nigh-imperceptible to the eye.

A sense of calm feels the soldiers, between the small noises of the spinning glove and the running water, and the endless hum of machinery and the vibrations of the core, they feel right at home, they feel at peace, an almost surreal feeling filling the room, a white and golden aura that reflects the place that they are in right now, certainly enough to meddle with their minds in a minute manner, though not enough to be perceptable to someone that is not the wiser when the topic comes to the... lets say, interesting effects of The Anvil.

A large fleet of Voghus ships arrive at the Anvil, from 4 directions, surrounding the structure, shields up, weapons ready, but they are not firing. Their presence is quite terrifying, as their numbers are great, a force to be reckoned with.

Even you, received the message Voghus put out, talking about a potential war with the Anvil.

The fleet itself began to send out a message, it seems to be one of the Commanders, Commander Olivius, who is well known about his questionable ways of war.

Transmission Start.

The Commander began to speak in a professional matter, with no emotion present on his face.

Commander Olivius: "Greetings, Anvil. We are here to talk about what lies in the center of your massive structure, as we are aware that they have a dark aura surrounding it, can transport individuals anywhere they want, and no clear discription of what it is.

We request you to respond immediatly. We will not let any ships pass that is part of your faction, as we demand answers."

Inside the Megastructure, machinery sounds of clanking metal and endlessly running threadmills of assembly halls fill the air, the workforce of the massive factory toil endlessly in the building process of what ranges from simple utensils to massive weapons, stocked, mounted on ships or traded, they still produce it from the blue-ish metal generated from the core.

Atop the chain, and in command of the operation, sits the Forge Master on his blue throne, cyan lights running up to it, integrated within his own clothes. He bears a mask, and a suit what seems to be some kind of heavy armor, beside him his trusty staff. An endless stream of data flies through the display in front of him, generated by the throne itself, readings from the recent event, something unprecedented in the history of the cult, followed by thousands of readings of construction completion, weaponry, maintenence and other trivial matters to the Forge Master.

That is until the station's integrated systems warn him of the fleets that recently warped into the system, it automatically readies the structure's defense system, bullets from belts running into the turrets that cover the surface of the structure, however they don't emerge from the hidden cyllinders they are located. He knows that he must answer to such allegations , they are outrageous, thusly, he sends the following:

"Dare not come to our home with such allegations and no due reason. It is a fact that the prisioner that we thought we had a grasp on had escaped from us, all the readings and data say that they suicided into the core of The Anvil, an unplanned mass injection de-stabilized the self-sustaning plasma streams, generating a cascade of events that almost broke the containement chamber."

However, not known to the outside fleet, The Anvil readies itself for combat, manning ships and arming its workforce...

Commander Olivius nods as he got the transmission, but is slightly annoyed by them ignoring the fact that the prisonerer escaping using The Anvil and the energy it supplied.

Transmission Starts.

Commander Olivius: "Do not, act like you are unaware that the prisoner used it as an escape. They did not commit suicide, as they popped up at Voghus mere seconds later, almost killing our Leader, Rosar. Currently, Rosar may be in a coma until he dies.

So tell us, what does the Anvil do? What is it?!"

Transmission Ends

Their weapons stopped aiming for now, not provoking The Anvil anymore.

"Mere coincidence! How dare you come at our doorstep with such allegations? You deserve not to be blessed by The Anvil's embracing light of knowledge."

The fleet commander sighs, and signed the pilot to go further away from The Anvil, and station far away enough where the weapons of the Anvil can be defended more easily if it came from that, where they will stay until the meeting has a conclusion.

He responds one last time.

Commander Olivius: "It is clear that communicating with you will have no results, we will back away, but be nearby, until further notice.

Commander Olivius began to write a digital report, which is immediatly send to the Voghus Outpost, directly on a device Miss Reyarteb posseses.

A massive Xorxian Fleet warps into the system, comprised of many smaller fleets. Each fleet has a Heavy Cruiser in it, while a massive screen of the new Negotiator Gunships protect the vanguard. Many other Corvettes and Frigates protect the flanks and rear. They stay away from all of the factions for the moment, possibly waiting for a transmission.
