The Pirates were literally on their larger ships, pilots and all celebrating their recent raid with some alcohol being passed around to the much finer dressed then expected backwater pirates. they still looked not that decent, but they stopped drinking and shit when the captain silenced everyone after the transmission, all they were carrying were slaves from a cargo ship, and its more valuable cargo

Aboard the Ultimatium, sensor sweeps of the pirate vessels reveal comething odd: While there are enough bio signatures to account for the crew, there are also a lot more Bio signals, in the cargo holds of the ships. The bio signals are too close for them to be willingly placed there, leaving only one alternative: Slaves. The one thing that Blood Mongers hate.
The Ultimatium's weapons point towards the Pirate ships, but don't fire.

They send a transmision to the pirate ships.

"Please explain why you have slaves aboard your ships. If no explanation comes soon, we will fire."

The bio-signals in the cargo holds are much larger then the human and humanlike crew, they do all vary in sizes, except for one corner that does have a few human sized signatures

killercat625 May I inquire as to why you have slaves? The CRCKI aren't as trigger-happy as our almost trade partners, so we're not asking you to release them, at least not without an explanation.
