The cruiser began trying to use its FTL, while the smaller 2 ramming ships engines went on full, attempting to try and ram into the large ship, their heavy frontal armor being propelled faster as its laser turrets began firing.
(also the cruiser has a bulky heavy armor, so heavy weapons would damage its thick slightly ramshackle armor, but mostly it would probably hold for now)
The pod with the cargo also separated through use of explosives, and began its own FTL attempt at another direction
