A race of newcomers to space, these fierce lizard-man will use the collective of their nation’s power to further their goals of understanding more of the vast universe that envelops them, astonished by the wonders of technology, science and engineering.

The Musavians are a species of lizard-like humanoids that average 1.7 meters of height, covered in green and black skin-like scales, with something resembling hair on running through the back of the head and neck, also on the forearms.
Their hands have 5 fingers accompanied by claw-like “nails”, the opposing thumbs helping them in the usage of tools. Although their body grants more mobility and is generally able to bend more than the galactic standard of comparison “Human”, their strength is roughly equal to that of one.
Evolved in a planet with most of its surface covered with water, they have prowess in dealing with aquatic environments, both in the evolutionary sense and in the civilization sense.
They usually live from 100-120 Terran Years, in the aging process, their appearance slowly starts fading and the once vibrant orange and black turns into their grey-is counterparts.
A blue and green planet, fourth from the star that it orbits, right in the perfect place to develop life, and so it has. With most of its surface covered with water, and most land gathered in two large continent-like land masses, where the land-based part of the evolution of the Musavians happened.
Nowadays, these continents are ruled by two main nations, and are heavily industrialized and habited. Although a lot of infrastructure is water-borne, due to the lack of land, special floatation devices for over-ocean construction, as well as very well developed deep-sea and underwater construction techniques have been developed, with the highlight being the Sub-Oceanic Research Base. ( S.O.R.B ), situated at and underneath the oceanic bed of the deepest Musavian Ocean, although its exact location is an international secret, its engineering wonders are plain and obvious.
Musavians speak the official Musavian script, one language for the whole world, although with contact with other space-faring factions, they have learned how to speak what people’d refer as the the “galactic standard language”.
Although knowing the translation, the blueprints and all other official documentation of the Musavians is still written in the Musavian Script.
The M.I.S.E is the part that represents the whole of the Musavians is space and space-related affairs, the leaders of them are elected by the citizens of the whole world, or whatever populace composes the colony. For the countries in Musavi or the colonies, they have different ministries which present projects for the populace to approve or decline by direct democratic vote, having a minimum they must meet in different sectors such as “Education” and “Healthcare”, very rarely is a president elected, most diplomatic efforts made by the ministry of diplomacy, though if needed, Musavians will elect a temporary president to work as a representative.
-Government Type: Electronic Direct-Democracy, State controlled by ministries.
-How it is Run:Ministries control the different sectors of state business, presenting projects for the electronic direct voting by the populace. MISE leaders decide between them, and get their decisions voted by their own board, and other nation’s rulers.
-Main Ruler/s:Occasionally a president is elected by the Musavians, most of the time, they’d be represented by their nation’s ministries of Diplomacy, or by the MISE’s “Diplomat”.
-Figures of Power:The MISE itself has figures of power elected to direct their progression on space-based tech, or other space-related business, each with their own elected team of helpers, though the leaders are elected by the process detailed earlier.
Diplomat: Takes care of diplomacy-related business with alien species and factions;
Physicist: Takes care of tracing the FTL routes, protecting systems against asteroid collisions, and research related to physics and FTL technology.
Engineer: Takes care of space-bound or related construction, with the help of his team the engineer is tasked with designing the most effective types of ships and materials possible.
Biologist: Is tasked with taking care of biology-related business, which includes but is not limited to: Space crop growing, defense against alien bacteria and viruses, development of biological weaponry, etc.
Economist: Cooperates heavily with the nation’s leaders to keep a stable internal economy in the face of great alien economical potencies, often presents votes for the board as to which alien tech they should research to, always trying to avoid economical bubbles or breakdowns.
General: The toughest nut to crack in the bunch, the General is the one that plans for all weaponry, system defenses, attack and defense plans in the case of nations attacking the Musavians, often works together with the other members of the board for the development of new and innovative weaponry and defensive technology.
The General of the board of the M.I.S.E approves and plots, together with his assistants (called Overseers) -which’d form the War-room of the Musavians – the defensive or offensive plans for the M.I.S.E, in space-related warfare, their numbers are low, so they don’t have much to do, but space-related armed branches are planned in the following:
SYS-DEF: Soldiers trained and tasked with manning space-bound defensive measures, such as armed stations, long-range planetary artillery or space-artillary, planetary shields, bunkers and bases, etc.
STRIKE-FORCE:_ Soldiers trained and tasked with manning strike craft and other forms of small attack craft, their training is geared towards maneuverability and speed, and recognizing the small weakspots in the enemy and targeting them, whilst also excelling in dogfighting._
DIRECT-FORCE:_ Personnel trained in tactics, these command the strike forces and the normal, general purpose ships, such as carriers and normal combat ships. They specialize in using their more (planned) sizeable guns to target the main ships of the enemy, trying to destabilize the chain of command in the battlefield._
INDIRECT-FORCE:_ Trained and tasked to man the long-range artillery, which support the fleets in the battles by supplying a steady stream of deadly projectiles, often-times they stand nearby stars or gas clouds that’d help them to hide against the enemy’s sensory systems._
SPECIAL-OPERATIONS:_ Highly trained military personnel with habilities considered to many unnatural operate within the secretive M.I.S.E's Spec-Ops. Their missions as of yet are a secret, and presumed to be internal defense, however, they a force to be reckoned with._
Other branches of the military will be added as such is developed further.
-Fighting Doctrine/Rules of Engagement
The M.I.S.E employ, in space, mostly nuclear-based kinetic projectiles (Such as ICBMs), being that the energy-based ones are highly in development, in a tactic of long-range engagement, trying to preserve the most amount of ships possible. The same doctrine follows for the ground, with heavy use of artillery, added to that, they have great amphibious vehicle technologies, due to their homeworld’s characteristics.
-Approx Troop Numbers: 10.000.000 soldiers, divided in multiple branches of the planet’s military, being assisted by Helicopters, Fighter Jets, Amphibious vehicles and a great navy power.
For Space Combat, approximately 1000 astronauts.
Pre-historic era:Having evolved from water-based creatures, then to amphibious, then to land-based creatures, these Lizard-like people started cooperating and forming tribes, at the start, the two great continents were connected by a thin land bridge, after they predominated on both of the continents, a large volcanic eruption sunk the bridge, isolating the species for the following years.
Age of the Great Tribes:Especifically, on the left continent, the three tribes of Raf’thum, Ghrafnat and Guthrak, Guthrak being formed from a split-off from Ghrafnat after internal conflicts, and eventually conquering the continent, by assimilating it’s older tribe, and killing the Raf’thum, that ran away to the mountains and slowly died to the environment.
And on the right continent, the Thremavi and the Mus’shak. Eventually, these two tribes united, and formed the kingdom of Mus’avi.
Age of navigations/Age of Empires:Although navigation was always done by both the Empire of Mus’avi and the Ghrafnat, this was the age that both discovered the existence of each other, and started trading operations, in this period, both the empires broke into different kingdoms, but the original empires were still the predominating power within each of its continents. This is when the denomination of the world as “Musavi” came to be, due to the commercial influence of the people of Mus’avi, and how they referred to their home country by the same name, eventually mixing up, through the ages, and becoming the generalized term to refer to the planet they inhabited.
Age of Steel:With the industrialization of the countries that populated Musavi, the tug of war for the economical hegemony became stronger, culminating in a world-war that lasted 100 years, in which the Musavians went from steam-based machinery, and culminated in the nuclear bombardment of Ghrafnat, making them yield and ending the war. However, the destruction between Musavi (the country) and Ghrafnat made both economically weak, granting leeway for the other countries to develop, in such a way that there were no more hegemonical powers.
Age of Unity: The promise of mutual nuclear destruction generated fear but also granted a situation of stability in Musavi, in such ages, multiple wonders of technology were achieved, slowly transforming the objectives of the Musavians from conquering the next country to cooperate to achieve more wonders of technology, by this point, they already had great achievements such as complex water-based infrastructure and great engineering feats of deep-ocean building, but the apex of their achievement was the construction of S.O.R.B, a cooperation of multiple countries, a statement to their engineering genius.
Age of M.I.S.E (Today): Now, the Musavian countries unite once again and look outwards into the skies, with the recent advancements in rocketry and material sciences, they can finally explore outwards of their planet, they started by sending satellites and connecting the world in an interconnected internet-like web, and eventually even stablished a station on the moon of Musavi, but now, with the other powers of G-S16 noticing their existence, they are about to be faced by new wonders of technology, and new dangers that they barely predicted could ever exist and be borne from the vastness of space that stands before them…

One of the main problems the Musavians faced, was the lack of land. The planet simply didn’t have enough terrain to expand much, but had ocean to spare. Eventually, a brilliant mind developed a special, extremely water resistant coating for materials, and another developed potent buoyancy devices, combining the two inventions, it allowed the Musavians to construct whole skyscrapers above the water, and so they did.
The continental land is thoroughly occupied by an assortment of cities, industries, and fields, and so is the costal water, using special techniques, they are even able to extract geothermal energy from deep-water vents.
Thusly, the environment forced them to become masters of super-pressurized building, and any other liquid-based technological or engineering wonders.
However, recent advancements by the MISE have allowed for the construction of a Space-Elevator, and a Space-Bound facility, which greatly changed the way that the whole world operated, with an abundance of rare metals from asteroid mining, technological advancement is running in unprecedented speeds, being led by the S.O.R.B.
Musavian Interstellar News (MIN)
A Musavian, with a suit, some papers on his claws, and glasses, presents the hottest piece of news relating to the Musavians and things that affect them (In Musavian Language but translated for better understanding). The following exerpt(s) is the highlight of today:
Big news for the companies, enterprises, and the people of the farthest reaches of the Musavian Interstellar Space Effort! The Biologist and The General have just declared that the Delta threat, who previously had taken from us the planet of Damadafu in an unforgetful event, have recided and are now not considered a threat now!
This means that imports, exports, travel, and any other sort of relations external to the MISE are allowed. We have learnt to hide well however, so there will still be stopgaps to stop the kind of catastrophic event in Damadafu. The liberation will follow soon after the opening of The Embassy. The Economist says that this is not a coincidence, and that his fellow men believe that The Embassy is a hallmark of hope to install a galactic order and prevent further catastrophes like that of the Deltas.

Following the gathering from a particularly interesting "plant" form, of which showed capacity of converting energy into matter, said process was applied to the already existing tensile-energy mesh, which converted tensile vectors of force applied on material to energy, mixing both technologies grants the:

Exotic Matter is gathered by collision process of [REDACTED], and then contained, or re-directed to the Drive, which focuses the matter into two focal points, projecting an Ovoidal shape around itself, and then bending space around it, more especifically, shortening space in front of it and expanding it behind itself.
The Hawking radiation is prevented by multiple other, smaller, space time fields that use the energy from the Cassimir effect by [REDACTED], thusly, preventing the formation of black holes.

SPACE-BOUND MODULAR SELF-REPLICATING INDUSTRIAL SITE

With the usage of the recently constructed Space-elevator, material is ferried into space in large quantities, large enough for the construction of space-stations.
Thorugh the genious of the Musavian engineers and the smart usage of the newfound Tensile-Energic compound, this facility can be built. Using arrays of solar pannels and the impact absorbed by the tensile-energic mesh, transformed into energy, and a specially-developed fusion core, this station powers potent 3-D printers capable of melting, processing, and re-forming, although not that fast, material in a very precise manner, allowing for the construction of the newly-discovered FTL.
One of the main advantages of the industry, beyond that of being able to process most metals and alloys, is that it, in theory, is self-replicating, with its workers being able to endlessly extend it, expand it, and even create new stations, as materials stockpile up, Standard procedures demand so.
Close encounters with anomalous beings like The Ambassador and Tiranus have provided the M.I.S.E to secretly develop advenced psychic habilities inherently tied to their soul. Whilst they have failed to produce a psychic of particular extreme powers considered a weapon of mass destruction, they have been able to produce a fair share of millitary personnel able to destroy buildings and stop vehicle-grade weapons such as railguns and plasma launchers. They seem to have been able to develop a type of Hyperatomic computational method to work together with the psychic powers in a sort of enhancing of one's natural habilities to a supernatural level, as well as a passive defense and regenerative system.
