Soon enough, an army of substantial size has arriven where the shuttle is, first with some fighter jets flying over the place, then helicopters, then tanks and other land units, even though they surround the ship, they don't fire a single round, some vehicles have a kind of hexagonal-plated armor, the rest use normal kevlar armor or whatever armor you'd expect from a civilization of which its tech compares best to 21st century humanity.
3 soldiers approach the landed shuttle, they don't bare any large guns, but have pistols holstered, they have the hexagonal-patterned armor plate on their chest.
