Back in the secret laboratories, the scientists are close to cracking how the plant converts energy into mass, with that process laid out, they'd have a potential super-strong material to build mega-structures and things in that order.

The biologists apply fungal parasites together with viruses especifically bio-engineering with CRISPR to combat the "Plant" and heatsink/refrigerate the cave-system that the plant left whilst it dug to the mantle.
