"Why are we doing this? Because A, If we give you a boost, you may expand into a great interstellar empire with constant trade, benefiting us both, and B, it's because unlike many others in space, I am not a sick bastard who takes pleasure in the pain of others."

The message repeats, it seems you need some sort of advanced translator technology to translate to your language, and even so it'd be an arduous task.

(Well you didn't say they had any translators or anything didja? Also no, I think one of the people even gave up and just left a beacon because they couldn't stablish communication, after that I tuned the difficulty a bit, now advanced translators can probably pick up the language.)

The inhabitants who happen to glance up see a blazing glow build behind the sky, which breaks into a pillar of flame sheeting downwards, a star descending from the heavens. The shuttle winds up landing several kilometers outside the city proper.
