CursedPh4nt0m (Oof, that was a bit unclear but I would make sense that if u see a robot flyings through the skies on an such a strange planet u would identify them as hostile)
The battlecruiser intercepts the transmission and send on back
“You’re with them? We apologize for the escalations.”
The marines disengage instead try to land on the ground
The Black Planet
RedAndCosmoteer
(Cough I said,)
// transmission start //
“Unidentified ship, identify yourself or we will open fire”
// transmission end //
KrankysFirebrand48 (You expect me to respond to a transmission while I'm busy dodging and defending against three incoming spikes travelling at a few hundred MILES PER SECOND?)

RedAndCosmoteer (so u mean that all of you crew on the ship is busy? u should have someone dedicated to u know
COMMUNICATION
That are not MANNING A GUN or trying to stop UR ENGINES TO EXPLODE)
KrankysFirebrand48 ( Yeah, all of em are busy. It's a small ship, officers usually multitask if the ship's too small to fit a CIC/needs space for more subsystems like advanced scanners and weapon batteries. )

RedAndCosmoteer (Those are some fricking great defenses, wish I had similar "anti-unknown-projectile"-protocols..) The spikes get heavily damaged before stopping and starting to fall towards the ground. Seems like the unknown attacker gave up on hitting them...
KrankysFirebrand48 (I didn't make it clear that Michael was leading the investigative GSR fleet? Sorry for that... ) Michael, still dodging and destroying spikes, recieves the message and starts heading towards the landed GSR and Kel'Shir ships after sending a transmission to the second colony battlecruiser. "Now that we're on the same side again, could you help searching for intact facilities? We're short on time and I wouldn't want to leave all the tech behind. There should be a intact hangar to the north. I'll send some escortes to guide you to the place."
boombox Michael contacts the officer again "I'll need a Vernichter and some transporters leading the second colony ships to the facility the scouts found. And bring some soldiers, I don't think they left their secrets unguarded..."

CursedPh4nt0m (Well, Children of a Dead Earth says that lasers get more intense the closer you get to the source of the beam. I do mean the light lasers, not plasma batteries. (The Plasma Air Defenses are actually just normal GCW point defense ))
The ship continues scanning the planet.
{ Transmission }
" Greetings. We are the Illateri Sovereignty, we have detected this dark planet wandering through a nebula in interstellar space and have detected other irregularities about this planet that warrants investigation. So we came. "

RedAndCosmoteer (Yeah, even focused lasers are bound to have some stray particles. That shouldn't be a problem on this range tho. Now I wanna see your ship...)
They track a signal coming from the ground. It's too damaged to be of any use, but might indicate the position of a somewhat intact facility.

CursedPh4nt0m (Should not give me much trouble to whip up. The plasma point defenses are not that many, but if you have an X-ray laser and decent targeting system, IT WILL KILL if it enters the lasers' killzone.
At least if the targets aren't super large. If it's manned/guided, then it will probably fry some of the subsystems at least.)
RedAndCosmoteer (We should stop editing our posts that much afterwards, don't you think? It's somewhat confusing to me...)
CursedPh4nt0m ( Yeah, it's a habit of mine. I tend to forget many things in my comment, and have to edit it, like a few quadrillion times. The most notable example is in @Alpha 's post, One of my old scrapped faction ideas. I had to include a list of technologies and i ended up editing it at least ten times. )
CursedPh4nt0m The Doctor turned around to face whatever was in the TARDIS, aiming their sonic at the thing, it emmits a hum and a green light,"Why are you here?" "They then pressed a switch on the TARDIS control panel,locking the engine down." There must be a reason the TARDIS let you in here."
CursedPh4nt0m a medivac drops into atmosphere but ate the same time the battlecruiser launches a large number of wraiths to search the planet
RedAndCosmoteer (Can't blame you, I tend to do the same..)
CursedPh4nt0m They track a signal coming from the ground. It's too damaged to be of any use, but might indicate the position of a somewhat intact facility.
ThatBritishDude Turning around, the Doctor found... nothing? He hears a bunch more steps behind him tho. "You still don't get it, do you? I already told you I never went here by myself."
KrankysFirebrand48 The wraiths find a large hangar on an island in the black sea. It seems fully intact.
CursedPh4nt0m medivacs quickly scramble up all the stuff in the hanger bay and attach lift them away.
“What are we gonna do with these?”

CursedPh4nt0m The Doctor notes: "Very clever, but no clever." The Doctor then powers up the engine and pulls a few levers, and then pulls a knob, suddenly a whirring comes from the machine, and then a sudden stop as it arrives to it's destination, 250000 years into the future, on a dying planet.
(You did say you wanted to see the ship...)
The vessel continues making constant orbital adjustments, conducting a wide-field tachyon scan, trans-spectral scans, space-time anomaly distortions and all the while keeping it's X-Ray lasers and Main Plasma Guns armed, vigilant, while also launching a little shuttle of ultralight variant out of it's little shuttle bay, with the XO and five troops.
(the troops are armed with plasma rifles, the XO is armed with a plasma pistol.)

RedAndCosmoteer The scan alerts you to a spacetime anomaly, a spherical ship being in 3 dimensions at once, in every time and every place.

ThatBritishDude All of it's space-time distortions made no sense... "It's probably a time travelling guy from the future with incomprehensible technology. Carry on with what you were doing." The Captain said to the Fill-in officer who manned the bridge.
RedAndCosmoteer (that was actually quite funny)
