Drakador_Chaos The shard that was near the cloaked ship starts emmitting an impossibly wide array of harmless particles and energy-waves, but gets no reaction and therefore starts heading back to support the GSR forces and refill its energy. (I guess we won't have to ping you anymore?)

"Fire..the only way to hurt it. You can sit on the back of the tank, come on, lets get a move on!"

He climbs back inside the tank and closes the hatch..

As the medivacs get closer to the planet several spikes almost immediately shoot them down..

Korbar just nods reluctantly..
"There's a reason we're moving in ground vehicles."

He shakes his head...

"Once you take off they'll shoot you down like sitting ducks. Wasn't the smartest move. Anyways, we gotta go, have a great time."

He turns to the driver...
"Los, Los, mach hinne."

The whole convoy starts up and starts rolling through the forest again..

boombox All units see one of Michaels shards fall from the sky and cloak 2 meters above Korbars head. "It seems our unfriendly guests disappeared. Send info to the fleet and ask them about the peperations for the ships I've ordered."
Just as he finishes speaking, Michaels massive frame decloaks next to Korbar, looking at the sky with his middle eye while checking both sides with the other ones.
"And tell them I've sent two of my shards to support the fleet. Four should be enough to deal with those pests."
Korbar can't see why Michael wouldn't tell them himself, but standing motionless on the vehicle like that makes him seem somewhat thoughtful...

Korbar, only being tasked with the ground convoy, was not informed of any preperations..
"Good, if they're gone, the fleet will be able to give ground support.. those spikes probably wont shoot down artillery rounds.."

The convoy suddenly comes to a halt.. in front of them is a massive lake.

"How the FUCK did we not notice that on the map?"

boombox "I could try generating a bridge of sorts. That would need all four shards tho..."
He jumps off the vehicle and moves to the lake, waiting for Korbar to follow.

"We could also drive around, that would take us a few more hours though.."

He quickly looks at a map..

"Nope, fuck that. Lets do the bridge. I'll call Fleet and look if they can provide Napalm support while you build the bridge."

Korbar: "Großadmiral Michael hat nach "Vorbereitungen" gefragt. War da was?"
Heinrich: "Ja, schwere Bomber und Aufklärer. Sie starten grade. Weitermachen, Pionier."

"There is no way you could dodge these things, but if you scream early enough, I might happen to shoot them down before they hit you. You'd have to get some sort of stasis field or instant teleportation otherwise."
All for shards decloac at different positions, two on this side of the lake and two on the other side and start creating a solid path of air.
"I'm done Korbar. Using something more solid might've been safer, but this was way faster and will do just as good."
He takes a step forward and starts walking over the bridge of air like any other one.
"No worries, that forcefield could even hold an entire battleship! Just try to drive straight, I forgot to mark the edges..."
