All approaching entities will be fired upon.

This time a single defensive satellite manages to turn in the general direction of the approaching fleet. The distortion around the planet seems to increase, but it's still unclear whether this is intended or a simple malfunction.

Automatically the point defense guns of the Vernichters snap to life, aiming at the satellite...
"Feuer halten..."
The cannons still wait, it could be unloaded or otherwise a waste of ammunition...
boombox Catplayz The satellite seems to charge up, it's barrel now aiming at the Kriegszeppelin. Some other satellitest snap to live too, all aiming at the same target and almost painfully slow charging their weapons. All sensors register a strong energy outburst as the odd distortion around the planet increases even further.

The cannons open fire, lighting up the sky, able to pierce even NH armor..

Some of the Kel´Shir vessels try hacking a few of the satellites, hoping to take control over them.

boombox All (somewhat) functioning satellites open fire with the GSR ships, a bunch of them blows up in the process. Hovever, not a single shot hits its target, as the planets entire atmosphere suddenly starts glowing in a blinding white, causing a massive energy outburst and melting the entire defensive ring while (temporary) overloading the systems of smaller ships and fighters.
Catplayz
The Kel'Shir ships catch some signals, but fail to decode them before all satellites get destroyed. They are hit by the energywave too and suffer only minor casualities thanks to their distance and the GSRs shielding.
With the defensive ring gone, the planet now seems ready for investigation. The explosion caused a new problem tho, as the remaining energy would likely overpower the shields of any ship approaching the planet.

Michael enters the Kriegsreppelins bridge shortly after the attack.
"Heck did you just blow up? All you were supposed to do was getting us on the damn planet without unnecessary casualities!"

ThatBritishDude The box comes to exist on a large mountain surrounded by jungle. I doesn't seem like anything has taken notice of it.

The Commander seems unphased..
The humanoid looked up to the sky, a faint object could be seen, A SPACESHIP?

The robot seems calmer now.
"This planet should've been abandoned hundrets of years ago. And nothing on in could possibly function that long without maintenance."
He makes a pause to look at the planet.
"What's our status, officer? We still have to be careful."
