Tested the new weapons platform and I have to say I'm impressed. Didn't do anything extensive, but it looks about evenly matched with the Cerberus and the Extinction and it's far, far better against cheaper designs!
Haven't touched the other ones yet, I'm currently juggling way too many games (and adult responsibilities D: )
Ohm Thanks! I actually tested it out against your designs, putting my own on hard AI and controlling yours so that the diagonal effect was best achieved whilst I was making it.
It'll probably be the largest design I'll make for a while, I want to get the faction fleshed out a bit (will make a ~$500,000 design soon)
New download link for a Ship Library. It is a mod, place the .zip into your "mods" folder where you installed Cosmoteer, then install the mod in-game.
I want to make a Bounty Hunter mode for them but I'm currently experiencing issues that Walt is already aware of, as it's the same issue that occurred with the community ships pack.
Edit: I SEEM to have fixed it, I am now encountering the ships in BH mode without issue so far. Test it out and tell me if anything goes wrong.

I've added a new ship, the D-02-X. I was inspired by other forum user's designs to create something that could beat them, I think I've done pretty well!

Aimreh I am in the process of making a faction of my own, known as the Grand Navy of Mikrelia, which has several small and large ships that I think compliment your ships well. I can include your faction, as well as Greenfire Industries (and kind of already have) into the lore.
Cool ships and factions, I should probably lay off on the one offs and make one too, anyone have any pointers??
Solarwatch Yeah, I'm happy to have people include A.I. into their lore! Just make sure that anything you do write does not conflict with anything written in the main post because it'll just confuse people.
I'll write something more complex once the game fleshes out a bit and includes the rumoured campaign mode and other features.
Thanks! If you want to make a faction then just make sure you have a specific paint scheme (you can save one in game, and copy it to each ship you build) and give them a good reason to exist. Ship designs should correlate with their purpose - they don't have to be killing machines. There are great factions on the forums around mining and transport.

Solarwatch Yeah, sure! I also have a pirate faction, and you could reference that too if you like. I'm working on two factions at once, and I want Greenfire to have detailed desc. so it might take a while to upload all of my designs.

Thanks! I'm planning to create more of it once the game fleshes out a little (Campaign modes, for example) so I can potentially create a playable story line for them. In the meantime I'll continue to fill the gaps between ships of different values of credits so that when we do get to that stage, I'll have a lot to work with.
