Armament Intergalactica
Even in a galaxy where people indiscriminately kill each other for large sums of money, there will always be someone out there willing and able to experiment with and (more importantly) sell their own exciting new methods of doing exactly that.
It turns out there are a lot of people that think this way, so they all came together to create Armament Intergalactica. They hold the dream of becoming the richest and most powerful military-grade manufacturer in the universe, and the belief that new technology and ideas will allow them to do that.
Armament Intergalactica C-01-X

This ship is extremely compact and designed with one purpose in mind - Swarm missile attacks. By itself it can stay out of range of many ships and pepper them with missiles, but it's effectiveness is extremely limited.
However, in a fleet, they have been proven invaluable to A.I. operations as cheap drones that can take care of smaller ships in small groups, or create an opening in larger ships by firing all missiles at once at a specific point on an enemy.
Crews don't tend to like them because of how exposed the missiles are, three or four cannon rounds into the hull and death is guaranteed. When asked about the lack of fire extinguishers on this ship, A.I. allegedly told the crew members that they were free to bring their own, but it would be subject to Personal Item Weight Limits. Unfortunately, the Personal Item Weight Limit is just about too small to bring a fire extinguisher.
C-01-X means: Cruiser Tier 1 Prototype.
Armament Intergalactica D-01-X

This ship follows the tradition in Armament Intergalactica of valuing small, expendable ships in large fleets. This is a companion, much like C-01-X, to the F-Series detailed later in this report. The ship itself is not designed to be hit with anything too heavy - it is cheap, able to fend off similar ships of its kind but not expected to work alone.
After field trials of the C-01-X, the crews were moved to D-01-X ships. The increased armor was a blessing, the fact that there wasn't a massive hole in the front of the ship was also appreciated.
They are most useful when coordinating with the fleet to take out unprotected vital areas of ships, where the penetration of a cannon round is most appropriate. As a result crews have taken to nicknaming this ship "The Penetrator". Anyone found calling the ship by this nickname will be [REDACTED].
D-01-X means: Destroyer Tier 1 Prototype.
Armament Intergalactica D-02-X

This prototype was developed when Armament Intergalactica Fleet Captains kept requisitioning MWP-05-X ships for almost every battle they came across. Since this was ridiculously expensive, Armament Intergalactica decided to create a platform with similar firepower and ability to tank hits. As Executive [REDACTED] put it,
"We took the F-02-X, added a couple hundred tons of armour to it, strapped a bunch of bigger guns to it, and called it the D-02-X."
A bonus to the design of the D-02-X over the F-02-X is the far superior armour caused by the ship being split into three sections: Command, Right battery and Left battery, allowing it to stay in the fight far longer than the F-02-X.
It does suffer from a lack of electrobolts however this is easily remedied with an extra F-01-X in your fleet.
It is devastatingly effective against specific ships, as it can drill through armour like butter with a few volleys of cannon fire. By itself, it has been seen to win against craft even double its price.
Armament Intergalactica D-03-X

This is an improved version of the D-02-X, now with more firepower and ammunition efficiency allowing captains to pump out 10 rounds of pain onto an enemy ship over and over again. This is in addition to the increased survivability over the D-02-X.
It is a favoured ship of wealthier captains,as it combines safety and firepower into an affordable package. If you have $400,000 credits lying around, that is.
Armament Intergalactica F-01-X

This is the first ship developed by Armament Intergalactica with a shield and a mix of weaponry. It is designed to get up close and personal with an enemy ship, take out shields with the electro-bolts and assist other A.I. ships in targeting specific components. It is also cheap and cheerful, being great for independent contractors due to its versatility.
It is also the first ship to be expected to hold it's own against other ships by itself. Boasting an uninterrupted rate of fire from its 6 lasers and 2 electro-bolts, it can punch through the defenses of an enemy ship fairly quickly.
This ship was soon in high demand and so Armament Intergalactica decided to prototype a new, improved version...
Armament Intergalactica F-02-X

This ship supports 2 quick-recharge shield generators at the front, improved armor all around and even 2 extra lasers. This does increase the price by around $100,000 credits, but proves to be far less likely to explode under extreme duress and EVEN FEATURES TWO (2) FIRE EXTINGUISHERS.
It is highly capable by itself, is brilliant in duos and as part of an Armament Intergalactica fleet, a necessity. It will still soak up a load of shots even with the shields down and the weaponry mangled.
F-01-X means: Fighter Tier 1 Prototype
F-02-X means: Fighter Tier 2 Prototype
Armament Intergalactica F-01-A

This is a spinoff F-Class designed for tight budgets and amateur captains. Crewing only 12, this craft is easily affordable. Despite the cost, it has great firepower with 6 lasers and no power supply issues, allowing you to blast away Mosquitoes to your heart's content. The ship is also lightly armored around the sides and rear.
As a limited time offer, Armament Intergalactica are allowing captains to trade in their Model-1 ships to reduce the price from $70,200 to only $24,704. Now if that isn't a bargain, I don't know what is.
F-01-A means: Fighter Tier 1 Type A
Armament Intergalactica F-01-B

Another variant of the F-Series, It is very similar to the F-01-X however it doesn't come with a shield and is very compact. Used as a training craft by Armament Intergalactica crews for the F-01-X and F-02-X designs.

This variant of the F-Series has less firepower but more thrusters for maneuverability. Sold to amateur contractors for an affordable price.

This craft is similar to the F-01-B as it is used as a training craft for the D-01-X, featuring very similar firepower but far less survivability. Again, very cheap and surplus units are often sold to hobbyist captains or even to large fleets as cannon fodder.

This tiny craft is completely unarmed, but equipped with large thrusters, armor, and an FTL drive. It is a necessary companion for Armament Intergalactica's larger ships, as they tend to be heavily armed and armored but too slow.
Many captains of all skill levels have followed what they thought was an easy $10,000 credit bounty to an early grave.
At this point, Armament Intergalactica wanted to put some of this research into something bigger. One day, Executive [REDACTED] had the idea to combine this technology into a horrific, bounty-collecting death machine...
Armament Intergalactica Mobile Weapons Platform XII Version 1.0

This monster is the cutting edge of A.I. design and philosophy. Separated working parts that, when put together, form an unkillable beast.
Featuring shields, missiles, lasers, even bigger lasers, cannons, even bigger cannons and fire extinguishers, this instrument of war is absolutely unstoppable. It is designed to function piece by piece rather than as a whole, making it very difficult to put down for good.
The ship shares ideas similar to other large-scale ship designs by A.I. such as [REDACTED], where it could be mistaken for an entire fleet docked into a heavily armored frame.
Armament Intergalactica Mobile Weapons Platform XII Version 2.0

This ship was created after the testing phase of Version 1.0. As a result, the ship features only four different weapons systems (unlike the 6 used before) to create a more efficient, more dangerous machine.
It has a missile system, an extreme amount of medium cannons, a few large cannons and electrobolts to bypass enemy shields. It is also far more maneuverable than Version 1.0, allowing it to get in and out of range as it requires.
Despite the upgrade, it is far cheaper - around $500,000 credits cheaper, putting it at just under $2,000,000 credits.
The ship is fully effective in bounty hunting everything from amateur to vanguard, with repair costs being low with good piloting.
The broadsides will punch through anything between the cannons and the juicy insides of the enemy ship.
To put this ship into perspective, it can completely destroy Version 1.0 and take less than $10,000 credits worth of damage on average.
Because of its success, the ship now has its own designation - MWP-05-X
Meaning: Mobile Weapons Platform Tier 5 Prototype.
Armament Intergalactica D-04-X

This design is the fourth and final iteration of the D-Series of Armament Intergalactica vessels. At just over $1,000,000 it is extremely cost-effective.
It features a mixture of large and medium cannons protected by a multitude of shields and heavy armour. It is also one of the first "concave" designs of ships, breaking away from the convex design of the previous D-03-X and D-02-X vehicles to great effect.
For the first field trial the vessel came up against a Cerberus. Despite the panic due to the legendary status of that ship, the crew successfully took it out with minor damage.
After this brutal victory over one of the most feared ships in Vanguard space, the D-04-X was slightly improved and then immediately put into mass production. It became one of the most valuable assets in the Armament Intergalactica arsenal overnight.
Various organisations, after discovering the power of the ship, released memorandums to their captains with the recommended tactics to deal with the D-04-X.
