I dunno what causes this or anything, But Discord, As of this morning, stopped working Correctly.
It attempts to update (Like normal) But then I get a Java "err spdy protocol error"

I dunno how to fix it, since Discord restarts the update after the error..

If it fixes itself or is fixed I will mark Edit the title to "Resolved"

Edit: Discord worked fine last night, less than 24 hours ago.

FangTheCat Try re-installing, it had something similar where discord crashed somewhere mid update, not sure if it´s the same issue.

Thanks! I'll have to reinstall later tonight though, I have Very slow internet.. (Around 14-800 b/s)
Edit: And at midnight I get faster internet.. XD

      Drakador_Chaos
It said Installation Fail, There was an error while installing the application.

Luckily I have discord in my browser right now..

If anyone has this issue as well, I reinstalled, but in order to that you must delete the existing folders
Including ones found in... (Copy-paste from google that gave me a soulution)
hit the Start button + R, and enter: %appdata% in the run window and hit enter: Then %localappdata% in the run window and hit enter: Then find the "Discord" folder in both of those windows, and delete it.

I had a little trouble in this as it refused to delete.
I used Task Manager to end Discord so it would delete and reinstall.

FangTheCat changed the title to Discord Not Updating [Resolved].

The error Discord Not Updating starts because of discord installer/update. There is a virus in the update and that is the reason of this error. That is the reason this problem isn’t simulated on the web version. Mostly this issue is fixed by reinstalling a new installer. But, in case that doesn’t fix the error then that means to say that the problem is in one of the application files or Windows file. No need to be anxious because we have a few solutions for your convenience here, so there is no need to waste your time looking forward to the most reliable methods to solve this problem.

1- Installing Discord again: There are many users who have said that by installing discord again their issue has been solved.
i). To do it download the discord installer and double click to run the discord installer and go for the commands that pops up on your system.
ii). Keep in mind that there is no need to uninstall the old version for this to work. Just download and run the installer will do all the work for you.

            2- Running as Admin:
i). As first step close the discord application and restart it. In case the Discord application begins via automatic processing then close it.
ii). Let it confirm that the Discord isn’t in the System tray, but in case it is then right click the Discord icon and pick the option of Quit Discord. To confirm this step tap CTRL, SHIFT and Esc key at the same time (CTRL + SHIFT + Esc) to start the Task Manager.
iii). Now have a look at the process list and confirm that the Discord process isn’t in the list. In case you find it then choose Discord and tap the option of End Task.
iv). In the last step find the Discord shortcut on the Desktop, right click the icon and pick the option named Run as administrator. To explore more solutions follow this website https://appuals.com/fix-discord-not-updating/ In case you don’t have a Discord icon on the Desktop then tap the Windows key and you will see that there is a Discord entry there and right click Discord > More > Run as administrator where you will see when the application begins, the update should install without any errors.
