Three shuttles of some sort exit a neon yellow tunnel in space, staying in place for a good amount of time before continuing their journey. Their armor plates seem to lined with bright golden lights, tiny glowing particles leaving the gaps where the light appears to be emitted from. Scans show that the ships are unmanned...

(Welcome back. There's a lot of catching up to do. First off, have you heard of Fissi-disruptors? One of the factions in the galaxy has that and lots of other things such as access to other dimensions, the ability to slow down time, instant communications anywhere across the galaxy (Hypercomms), and a lot more, so i don't think you should claim that you're one of the most scientific empires in the galaxy. No offense was intended in this comment.)

They are colored black and dark brown, with Voghus on them.

The scans manage to reveal some new information on the three shuttles, identifying the particles as a vaporized for of "admoscite," a mineral only found in northeastern and central systems of the galaxy. Their cores also seem to run on the mineral, explaining the particle emissions. They appear to be lightly armed, although their weaponry isn't capital-grade.

The three shuttles continue to scan things, coming to a stop as if they were waiting for something or someone...
