Because I don't like telling people no.
I just don't have the motivation to do it and to be honest i haven't played modded cosmoteer properly in almost a month, and have barely played cosmoteer recently too :/
And thats not even mentioning the modding changes that probably has made this obsolete and possibly a nightmare to update.

would it be possible to get a smaller PD turret? maby something like this half the size of the flack maby 1/2 the range but faster firing rate?

Ultranova The second loaders would be bringing ammo tho, resulting in a total 7 crewmembers needed for the gun. Guess you could waste two quarters on this thing and have one crewmember dedicated to firefighting and keeping the ammo factory powered.
well there has to be a tradeoff for having what is basically 2 flack cannons in a interior turret with 270 Degrees of rotation. seems balanced to me.
Now that i think about it its basically 1 more crew than the cost of 2 vanilla flack cannons but as a 4x4 interior turret so if the cost is a bit more say $20,000 and has the range of say 2/3's the PD flack and a fire-rate of say 6 shots/sec and half the PD flack's burst field its actually rather balanced. just knock the accuracy down a bit to account for the higher fire-rate
And it's about 5 meter or 5 tiles in game in diameter.
