this ship has a very low cost, but it's a good fight, I did a lot of testing before posting it, I hope it goes to the MOD.

JPS-205 Lemme guess, this thing turns slower than a snail? Unless those small thrusters got the power of normal ones somehow... (Seriously, this thing lacks maneuverability!)
(Large) Cannon projectiles tend to fly too slow to hit anything in the price class you're tying to get in btw. Just saying.
Maybe replace the large cannons with smaller ones and add more trust not directed forwards?
Which tier would this thing be in? I could possibly send you something to test it against.

That is a substantial jump in quality however! Okay some things you you can do. you are 7k over the previous price range which brought you into the next price range and lets just say it did not go well for it in either price range. I would remove the armor on the sides and bump the large thrusters down to mediums. also large cannons are not viable until about tier 4 so I would swap them out for small cannons.

Since you are above the price range you can try to make the design cheaper by going town a tier or use the rest of the tier 3 budget to improve it.

JPS-205 Mobility and the slow velocity of cannon bullets... That's only what I could find by looking at the ships outside tho.

This new one is in tier one and I obviously had to change some stuff to get it there. It's nice you consider it good enough to make it into the mod without testing, that somehow feels like cheating tho.
And you're free to give them actual names. I'm terribly uncreative and usually struggle more with giving the ships a fitting name than actually building them. 😓

I felt like ion beams aren't getting enough love recently. They don't always work as well, but luckily with the upcoming update they will get buffed, making this ship actually better after an update.

Alpha I felt like ion beams aren't getting enough love recently.

(Many ships I submitted have ions, you know? And there will be even more (after I finally finished my Cannonwedge prototype 😓 ). The upcoming 'Oblivion', the 'Final Dawn' and some other stuff I'm working on all use ion beams. You're right tho, many people don't know of their effectiveness against armor and everything else not beeing a shield.)

Alpha Did not pass. Did good agaisnt the ships that were lower in price in the tier but not as good against the ones that were the same price or higher. Your swarmers are also getting their CRs destroyed by the explosive charges so it might help if they worked lol

CursedPh4nt0m the thing is, right now ions are extremily UP compared to the other weapons, this is because the only way they can actually deal enough damage is if they hit a single spot for an extended amount of time, and in no that rarely happens in mp, this does happen more often in pure ai battles though since the so don't really so anything else then point at each other,

That should be caused by the fact I'm using the older mod version. (Curse you, lazy me 😄). I need to update ASAP if this makes me design ships wrongly.
