Dylan: "Well, that actually pairs you pretty well for a mission I haven't managed to convince any pilots to do. A few days ago, a craft went missing for unexplained reasons. The mission was to scan and report back about a nearby system, "Xivia Theta". The mission was going nominal, it actually succeeded, we where recieving back system scan data from the ship, and not long after it completed the scan, we had noticed an anomaly in the asteroid belt of the system. Apart from the asteroid belt being unprecedentedly dense, it also had..."
Dylan paused
Dylan: "Ah, well, yes it was unprecedentedly dense. Lots of asteroids. Lots of rocks. Bad place. Anyway, a few minutes before they where intended to arrive at the site, we lost communication with their vessel. Communication went down, handshakes weren't responded to, scans show nothing, they vanished."
Dylan: "There is hope luckily. They're ship was carrying an industry standard black box recording device. It's extremely durable and has an on board transmitter with enough battery power to last at least a week, which starts transmitting a signal once the black box is disconnected from the ships power supply. It's signal is too faint to detect from here, despite our high grade sensor equipment. That's where the mission starts. We need a pilot to get to the system Xivia Theta and recover the blackbox."
"But why?"
Dylan: "aherm legal reasons aherm"
