Although no-one can be certain, from the looks of their unshielded second-rate ships, it is certain they would be useless at the front of this formation.
And from the way their destroyer has loaded their mine-launchers with mines, its certain that they intend to be a last line of defence.
However the carrier has finally finished launching its fighters, and they buzz close past the friendly fleets, acting as a small defencive screen should any Mak somehow slip past un-noticed.
