Walt How would you feel if flak was separate from the minigun?
Could imagine a second standalone anti-missile / anti bullet measure (not flak as expalined above 😉 )
So basically an advanced, larger, PD that needs not only power but also bullets.
Switching between this two modes feels tedious ingame because the two modes are rly fundamentally different.
SO yes we think it should be a seperate part/device.
Switching firing modes on lasers and ammo for the launcher feels ok - because even if you do not switch you will still have some attack mode.
But a device that switches from attack to defense is making gameplay more complicated and bulding mode less compelling - because less choices to make.
Brings us to missile launcher part visual design:
It would be cool if the missile launcher actually would be transforming when you set it to different ammo so that you can identify from the outside what's loaded.
... lastly
not much balancing toughts so far - apart from nukes seeming rather easy to intercept and a bit weak
