A small Tiark co ship exits Eho jump in orbit of the Lupidira collective homeworld of Nix aeternam...
It quickly goes into a dive and within half an hour enters the atmosphere.
Local defences do nothing to stop it, since it is a Tiark vessel...
It lands somewhat close to an entrance to the underground tunnel system and its pilot disembarks...
Lyov:
"Pfft, snow planets, why are there so many of them..."
Lyov stepped off the boarding ramp and proceeded to slowly walk towards a small campfire he could see burning by the entrance, a small briefcase in his left hand...
It was silent, other than for the wind blowing though the plains, but Two Lupidirans sat around the campfire, sat on crates that had seemingly been put there at some point.
They were almost certainly guards, as indicated by their slightly more fancy looking cloaks that they wore around themselves.
Both looked at Lyov as he walked over, an expression of confusion present on their faces.
"Hmm, i expected you to be smaller..." Lyov said as he finally reached the campfire, he too then sat upon one of the crates opposite them, placing his brief case down beside it.
"Not the talkative type huh? Oh well, no matter.
I just need you to bring your leader up here to speak with me, and we will be ok."
The two looked on for a moment, before bursting out into laughter.
"Ha! What?! tell Alpha to come up here, where anyone could just pick him off from a distance, where you could do whatever to him!?
Oh god he is going to find that funny."
Lyov's smile dissapeared from his face almost immidiately.
"Funny? Do you not know what i am here to tell you?
For one i know you have a leader, so im clearly not like the countless other Tau that have come to bother you."
The two stop laughing and sigh in unison.
"Look, we can take you to him, but not the other way around."
"Alright... Im not quite sure that you understand why im here, do you?
I am Lyov, former leader of the TWE and soon to be ruler of it once again."
A smirk spread across Lyov's face as he spoke.
"You see... I wish to return to this position...
But i would need your leader's help.
I know who he is... Im aware we met once if im correct.
Not quite propperly however, but there is time for that now? no?"
The two sat there silent for some time, before one stood up.
"Sure... "Lyov"... We have you on record as being dead...
But im sure Alpha or Omega can spare the time to speak to you.
Just wait here, he will be up in the next half hour."
Lyov sighed a sigh of relief, and proceeded to relax...
Due to his lack of anything living on him, he found it easy to sit on the frozen planet...
And before he knew it, half an hour had passed, and a small Tiark co branded open top "Tread car" trundled up the snowy caves and out into the open. Lyov laughed at this, and stayed sat down.
The two Lupidirans from before got up and out of the way, as a Lupidiran wearing an ornate cloak with hundreds of enbedded crystals and gems rose up from the vehicle and walked towards the fire.
Due to how his cloak fluttered in the wind, Lyov could easily see that this was definately the person he was looking for. Various scars dotted his face and body from previous combat, where presumably he had proved much better than anyone else.
He immidiately sat down, and glared menacingly at Lyov, so in return he glared back too.
A long moment of silence engulphed the area, as both refused to speak...
"So... You are this... Leader then i suppose."
"Ye-"
"Yeah yeah, i get it.
But there is something that i could help you with... if you help me in return..."
Alpha looked on at Lyov in what could be confused as confusion, but was in fact him being greatly annoyed.
"Lyov... Lyov lyov lyov... You see, what could we possibly need from a dead Tau like you?"
He glared at Lyov as if he was a parent telling off a small child.
"Oh but look around you... What is your life dictated by?"
Alpha stared at Lyov for a moment, before looking around...
"What? Ice, snow and the wind."
Lyov almost laughed.
"Pff, no... Look at what seperates us. And what brought you here."
He sighed and looked again. All he could of course see was the campfire and the Tiark car.
"What? A damn car and fire. Lyov, i know what you are like an-"
"Nonono, you are ignoring the facts my friend."
Lyov now glared like a parent too, although Alpha was much taller than him even sitting down, and as such it looked more like an ungrateful child looking at their confused parent than the other way around.
"You see... Who gave you that car? and who gave you that fire?"
Alpha was starting to get pissed off by this tiny man having come to seemingly tell him the obvious.
"Yes yes, Tiark co, and we very much appriciate it Ly-"
"No no, i mean, what is up there? How do you get your materials? Tiark co.
And who do you depend on entirely for this? Tiark co.
And who would benifit if for some reason Tiark co was to be taken over and said person who took over gave control of production of cars... fire... and more importantly minerals and metals to you..."
Alpha looked confused.
"Us?"
"Exactly!
And who could possibly take over Tiark co if you helped them... hmm?"
"You...
Look i know what you are saying Lyov, and ill do you the favor of not telling the other Tau of what you just suggested.
But i am not biting the hand that feeds."
Lyov laughed openly.
"But its not just the hand that feeds... Its the hand that one day will take away...
And unless you do something now..."
Lyov stood up.
"Im sure you get the point."
He turned, and waved then started to walk back towards his ship.
"STOP!" Alpha shouted.
Lyov, smiling, turned around.
"So... You have a plan?"
"haha... i like you... Now, the plan..."
Lyov recounted his plan to the Lupidiran leader.
A plan he had planned to happen later, but he supposed it was more important to do step one before step three.
The two sat in the cold, although they soon where joined by Omega, who also sat and listened to the plan.
Although, somehow the three managed to make a joke out of the whole idea, and soon the three where laughing every time Lyov or the two Lupidirans made a witty comment about how easy it would be.
Lyov had gotten this far by pretty much thinking off the top of his head, his plan of course he had thought of, but he had really just bluffed his way here.
Yet here he was, the three laughing and plotting to finally give the lupidirans control of their own future.
It felt good...
"Oh... and before i go.
I used to design ships for the TWE and before that the STE... and well ive made some for you."
"Oh?"
"Ah that sounds good!"
Lyov unlocked the briefcase, and opened it facing the two.
Although then he remembered it was on a holopad, so he quickly span the case round to turn it on, spinning it back around to show the two.
Two uncompleted designs flickered on the freezing cold holo screen.
"Now, i realise that we would need to colaborate on what goes in them, ect ect.
But these hull designs, merely by flipping your normal one around, are much more efficient.
Anyway you two. I need to go.
When we are all ready, contact me and we can get started.
It won't be easy... But when is anything fun if its easy?"
The three laughed, waved and then Lyov walked off a second time into the cold towards his ship...
Lyov was happy, as for once someone trusted him, even if his methods are always... questionable.
Alpha and Omega spoke to eachother mentally, somewhat questioning the Tau, but they had much to gain from such a plan, and with little chance to go wrong at such a turbulent time in galactic history, there was really no reason to say no to Lyov.
