...a few weeks later the Rings were sufficiently repaired to allow further travel, in the meanwhile, on the "ground" it has shown itself that the small group Solarics will likely stay on the Iridestin Homeworld for the time being...
With the Solarics in their new living quarters the massive rings started spinning up once more, while Excalibur, Dainslef and five other Iridestin were standing around a large round table, somewhere below the surface of the planet...
D: "Where will we be heading now, considering the Solaric Empire which has formerly provided protection to us is now no more?"
???1: "Likely a habitable system, though considering this galaxies current standards "resource -rich system" would be more accurate for us."
???2: "Considering the unstable relations and our lack of financial resources, it would have to be an unclaimed system."
???1: "Unclaimed? why would a faction nto claim a resourcerich system if they have discovered it?"
D: "A valid question, on the other hand we are currently missing resources to locate such as system on our own.
???2: "..."
E: "That, is where you are wrong Dainslef, we do, or rather, we did have the resources to search for such a system, before the location and arrival of the rest of you, I have used the Solaric mapping and scanning relais to locate such a system, however, we will have to make several jumps as I would prefer to stay away from any of the major galactic powers."
???3: "Which means we will have to pass through some of these factions territories."
E: "Correct."
???4: "We should hurry then, we have lived in outer space for long enough."
E: "Does the council agree?"
???2: "Yes."
???3: "Yes."
???4: "Yes."
???5: Yes."
D: "Yes."
E: "Very well, Yggdrasil, confirm route and prepare jumping sequence."
???2: "As you order."
...the meeting seems to be over as all present Iridestin vanish in the ground, walls, or ceiling afterwards.
...a few hours later, the rings started accellerating and in a flash of light the entire planet disappeared again...
