...as Kelran ran towards the override he felt another dim pulse in the distance somewhere below him, that must´ve been Terr´Nocs override...
He felt the constant pressure of the Bloodwraith on his mind, as he turned around the corner what was most likely the override was ahead of him, a head-sized perfectly round bloodred crystal sitting on a pedestal, the walls of the surrounding corridor were solid, there would be no escaping from here...
As he ran towards the override he felt another quite srong psionical pulse in the distance, this time from somewhere above him, as he turned around he saw a massive red skinned, skeletal beast run past the corrdior with immense speed, it had at least 5 metres shoulderheight and emanated a strong feeling of hunger and hatred, it´s presence was horrifying, for a brief moment it felt like time halted...
...
...though the beast passed, it was apparently heading towards the other signature, at least for the moment..
Then, the comms sprung to life...
"You´ve got approximately a minute before the bait runs out, put your hands on the orb infront of you and fuel it with psionic energy."

...as (I presume) the forces of the Darkness started preparing their new weapon, a strong energy signatures was picked up, coming from the sensors, it was apparently charging it´s mainweapon, while it had nearly accellerated to top speed now, it would probably reach them in less than a minute...
In the meantime another signature showed up on the sensors, a brief Rift-Signature indicated something would arrive in the area behind them shortly and the Bloodcores they had just been talking to were apparently fully concentrated on that new signature now...

Drakador_Chaos "ah ha....." the Hivemind stoped and puled the Strange Stone out of his hand, the Hivemind strated to see what this Stone is made out and what properties it has, to see what it can do.

...as he turned the stone a few times adn looked at it, he noticed there were no airpockets in the stone, in that regard it was perfect, though apart of that, it could be anything a ruby, red glass, bloodcrystal, anything red and transparent...
Oddly enough the stone was emanating no energies whatsoever and upon closer inspection he saw that the stone did not seem to affect it´s surroundings in any way, as if it wasn´t even there, still, he clearly just held it in his hand...
The stone remained a mystery as of now...

...the energy built further up and as it peaked...the beast simply held fire coming closer instead and firing several volleys of primal hunter shells, oddly enough all of them were directed at the defensive installations and none at the ships...

-Silence! I am Zakaria, your bridge to the unique! Throw ships on the trajectory of these attacks, he will take the full whip in place of the stations. But this is only temporary, in the meantime, towed our defensive meteors out of the Bloodcult area by our larger ships. We will see if it will calm them. Also, push meteors against them, but do not target them directly, it may not be directly our stations they seek.

...as the primal hunter shells made contact with the ships that had been moved into the firing arc some of them got severly crippled, while other luckier ones got away with a few dents and scratches, though as the beast saw the (I suppose it´s the ones without the defensive installations) asteroids being flung off into Cultspace it suddenly held fire...apparently observing what was happening...was it...confused?
It was still floating there and the eye was stilll charged, though as of currently it didn´t fire anymore...

Drakador_Chaos The defensive bases on the asteroids (with the guns above), are towing farther than it was of the territory of the cult.
But also, they fire on small asteroids to direct them in the direction of Bloodcult vessels, without aiming them directly.

...as the Hivemind traveled around the storm and by that also around the core territory, he started seeing just what dimensions this storm actually had as it seemed to enguld the entire inner Cult territory without a gap, the only things he passed by occassionally were carcasses of large Cult ships and a few dying stars as well as barren planets,t hough nothing of interest...
Until he eventually, about 1/3 of teh way aorund the inner core, he saw something in the only a few hundred kilometres away from the borders of the storm he saw a massive construct, it looked liek a massive nearly perfeculty round sphere the size of a planet and looked like a cage made up of various polygons...
As he went closer he saw the "cage" seemed to be completely black, interuppted by thick strands of flesh which seemed to connect the cage with something the middle which looked like another considerably smaller sphere about the size of a Lucifer at most, engulfed by the fleshstrands that went out to the cage, though from this distance he was unable to make out any more details...

...as Kelran touched the sphere with his hands he felt...nothing?
He started to fuel the orb with psionic energy and it started emanating a dim red light, after about ten seconds it apparently stilkl wasn´t filled and he started feeling that it was not only him feeding the orb anymore, but the same time orb draining his psionic reserves, he started sweating from the continuous efforts in the Cult-territory, how long had it been since he entered? eventually after about thirty seconds, the orb seeemd to satiated, it now emanated a deep red glow and a outstanding psionic energy, as he let go and dropped to the ground for a few moments from the exhaustion, the orb lifted off it´s pedestal and was now floating approximately 10 centimetres above it, kelran got up and saw that his map had apparently went offline but the comms sprang to life...
"Ok, all overrides active, we start getting data! Head out of the corridor then right and downstairs."

-It seems that everything is fine, the strategy has succeeded. Now, let's go back to our business, but let's keep an eye on them.

...as they were about to go back to work, a psionic presence entered their minds, a voice booming in their heads, it was apparently the massive beast in the distance...
"What do you want here, followers of the ones who seek to defy all life?!"

...Whatever it was, it seemed to be inactive, there was no energy radiating from the cage nor from the core, there seemed to be a large open gate in of the cores walls and the core apparently had the same shape as the cage, with the same polygonal segments, just walled off and considerably smaller...
The cage itself was also rather odd, the gaps in between the frame were large enough to let large numbers of ships through and as he took a closer look at the material the cage was made of, he saw that veins were running along what seemed to be a black metal making it look as if it was biological...

...as he ran he felt the hunger and hatred of the Bloodwraith coming closer with every moment, it´s distant screams shaking his body, his mind feeling as if he´d be wading through water, it´s constant presence pressuring his mind even from a distance...
...as he reached the lower end of the stairs there was only one corridor around him, apprently turned left at it´s end...

...as he turned left the corridor ahead was apparently relatively long it was difficult to tell what the other end looked like from here, though the comms did not spring to life this time...was the rest of the path just straight forward?
He heard parts of footbridges crashing down as the beast made it´s way further towards his direction, the surrounding shelves were filled with odd-looking scrolls whose borders were covered with some sort of runes...
