Several minutes in the pink-ish wormhole,the pilot double check all systems,while tuning controls to maximum sensitivity,he wonder what is the thing thats calling them for the challenge...
after some time,Lupus finally defolded near an asteroid belt,beams with brilliant colours on the far distances,the fold drives detached from Lupus,leaving not a single mark,the pilot wonders why the unknown voice lure Lupus in such a deserted area,while not appearing immediately for the challenge

Dumb (I'm so fricking glad I did not send a "normal" crewmember! Oh, and I won't mind you killing Phoenix, as long as it's somehow realistic. (No, something below anti-battleship weaponry ain't enough to hurt, let alone kill, him.))
Phoenix checks the fighters systems before flying full speed towards the ongoing battle. Even tho he is wearing his selfmade black mask with 2 orange eyes and a white, creepy grin painted on it and the standart RaDD (Research and Development Departement; sub faction of UTP) uniform, one can clearly see something just changed. He somehow manages to evade every single bullet and piece of debris in his way until he stops the Ghost roughly 700 meters from the battle. He keeps the fighter in that position while watching the engaging forces and checking for any transmissions the fighter might receive.

as he tunes the transmission receiver to different fequency,he found two interesting channels,one with human voices yelling orders on top of their lungs,while another filled with strange voices,somewhat disembodied but remain human-y enough to be understand. Phoenix finds that with prolonged connection with either channels,the origin of the forces may be able to pinpoint his location in this chaotic battle

The Lupus's eye shines as it begins Deep-Scanning the area... Its engine still emitting particles.. but rather than the blue ion-trail that is normally seen, it appears as more of a blue mist..

The Machine's eye flashes, as if understanding..
"I give my permission and Consent to Override your systems."
The Machine's eye flashes again, as it goes through a transformation... its head is no longer a mono-eye, Its legs have taken on more of a digitigrade-like shape.

The machine's engine is flaring... as a signal is sent out...
"We accept your challenge, Reveal yourself."

Dumb (No reason to apologize. I know too well what it's like to read a good story.)
He keeps the receiver on the more human-like channel, but connects his mask to the fighters systems and makes it receive the other channel, allowing him to hear both channels while letting both armies know of his presence. Not beeing able to see the entire fight at his current distance, he starts the fighters engines again and steers it to a point roughly 200 metres away from the batteling fleets.
(The fighter should've been detected by now anyway, as it sat in open space even less than a kilometre away.)
(Sry for any mistakes, I almost doze off just now.....)

CursedPh4nt0m (none that i find lol)(well cuz the ghost is transfered to a third party,its signiture is a tad bit different but its still similar to the ghost signiture that both sides' ghosts have,so yes they already know you r here but they dunno if you are allies or foes,if you connect to the channel for too long,they might think you r eavesdropping and treat you as a foe rather than a neutral target)

the signals intensify as Phoenix steer near the fleet,suddenly,signals from both fleets attempt to sieze the ghost's controls,Phoenix can see a trio of fighters coming from the biggest ship in both sides coming at his exact location,and he must act fast before its too late....
(or you can leave it be and see what will happen 😉 )

a pink beam ricochete off the asteroid and goes for Lupus engine,Lupus immediately evade the shot and try to trace the origin of the shot,only to find that a squadron of Ghost V9 coming for Lupus from behind,a voice echos within the cockpit: "hmmmm looks like you got some new fancy stuff,lets see what you got before we dance,eh?"

Dumb Phoenix decides to fly towards the approaching fighters and readies the ghosts weapons just in case they're gonna attack him. His part at the reseach ship, having understood the circumstances, requests a squadron of fighters and a single frigate to support him. They won't reach him too soon tho as the ships ain't ready and they're stationed pretty far away.
(Guess this still counts as "leave it be" ?)

The Machine deploys its weapons.. Two thin, long blades with what look like particle engines attached to them, they, too, are emitting the blue mist.
"Engaging targets."
The machine bursts forward, With a speed usually not seen in Mobile suits.. The sword's edge is becoming shrouded in the blue mist-like particles.

FangTheCat (insert first dice roll,4 for Ghost,5 for Lupus,-1 surplus) the sword cuts into the Ghosts like hot knife on butter,two explosions blooms from the front two Ghosts while the remaining Ghosts spread out,launching missile barrages and cannon rounds at Lupus (insert second dice roll, 5 for Ghost,2 for Lupus,+4 surplus) the shots cripple the swords while slightly damaging the engine,a minor leak of particles is detected on the back and decreasing power output by 3%
at the rim of the radar,a small energy signiture is approaching the area,tho it would take a while for it to reach here
(yes im using a D6 if thats what you r wondering)

The error signals begin slowly removing themselves.... the machine activates a Large tail.. which detaches, the tail has its own particle engine....

The machine also launches its Claws, 20 small rechargeable projectile units launched from the back... as the machine does this.. it drops its swords... Instead activating two medium-sized blades... similar to the tribes energy gauntlets... the blades become enveloped in energy..
"There has to be more to this... You have to do better.. "

in mid flight,the two squadron from both side seems to acknoledged eachother's presence as they turn and start engaging each other,missiles,beams and bullets filled the space as both sides pulled off some crazy manuvers that "normal" humans should not be able to pull off,soon,two of the white fighters are caught off guard and reduce to a fireball by a kinetic round from one of the Ghost V9,the last white fighter was desperately evading shots when suddenly,a fighter of unknown design equipped with an extraordinary bulky backpack for this size zoom pass,and the three Ghosts are reduced to nothing but bright fireballs,Phoenix barely able to get a clear image of the unknown fighter before it zooms away elsewhere,the remaining white fighter moves in closer,its wings and machine gun pod are severely damaged in combat....

Dumb (That was exactly what I was expecting/planning/hoping for... Noice! Now I've only got to deal with that super fast fighter thingy and a basically weaponless interceptor (I guess?).)
Realizing the big fighter might do the same to his Ghost, Phoenix sharpens his senses, refusing to use his second ability against such a "weak" (his potential is over demigod, so...) opponent, even tho he ain't allowed to loose his fighter. He decides to fly towards the only fighter left and wait for it's reaction.

the damaged fighter,which the Ghost's AI reconise as VF-171 EX "Nightmare",limp forward and attempt communication,for some reason,either the transmission system is malfunctioned in combat or the pilot is just a newbie,the transmission is open to all personel within near vicinity

Dumb (Might go to @FangTheCat too, once I'm done with this. Having Phoenix in a fighter without backup is kinda discomforting. Altho the story migh go more fluently with independent plotlines... I'll leave this decision on you.)
