I was gonna save it (because its not a full-fledged idea yet) but basically, Starlight was failing to be a.. good.. leader.. he resigned, leaving nobody as his successor... About the time he quit.. A massive fleet of unknown ships came in, ravaged the entire Tribe.. and left.. (The same which attacked Darkest Night)

But the Shadow is Not gone.. it will rebuild..
(Still working on a name for it.. )
