Dalas120 While I like the design I'm not entirely sure a moving shipyard fits into bounty hunter. After all why would a shipyard be moving around anyway?

This is just my personal opinion though, final decision on whether a ship gets to voting phase is up to Walt - If you're sure of your design then just confirm with me that you want to submit it.

IVIemories Why are we limited to just 1 design, I don't understand why we cant submit 2 or 3... it would increase the amount of ships eligible and therefore increase the amount of quality ships in the game... I'm really proud of it and don't want it to be for nothing OnO

Violet Because if you post a ton of ships you have a bigger chance of winning, I think. More ships = Bigger chance of your ship being selected. It is just a matter of balancing and not having to scroll through an endless list when trying to vote.

We don't want people to spam the contest with tons of ships. Quality over quantity. If you have multiple ships you think would be great, save the others for next time!

Plus, this is the first time I'm actually including player ships in the vanilla game and I don't know how well it'll work out yet, so I want to be conservative with the number of ships I include.

Violet In addition to what Walt said, we want to give everyone a fair chance to win the tournament without needing to spend hours designing and building multiple ships.

Yeah, maybe we should just have a bounty hunter ship submission page?
It's interesting, when you paint to look good it doesn't look like a bounty ship at all, but whenever you paint to look like a bounty ship it's harder to get to the finals... Meh, idk. Walt can pick ships he wants to put into BH from here already.

Probably not for the current Bounty Hunter mode. Will probably be better in the future once SP is fleshed out.

Dalas120 I think you're design is awesome even if the concept is somewhat out there, a mobile repair bay sounds fairly reasonable to me though. If it were to make it into the finals it would probably have my vote. Also I have a question, when the railgun explodes does the damaged Archangel separate from the rest of the craft?

Cosmic_Horror Yes it (usually) does! Feel free to try it out for yourself

If you destroy the railgun from the very back right after it's fired it doesn't have enough ammo loaded to separate the archangel, but 90% of the time it separates properly.

My submission is basically ONE ship just in two variants, FTL or non-FTL, the overall differences are very minor.
Hope it is ok i stretched the rules just a tiny bit?

IVIemories increase the cap by the factor of which you increased the ship submission size

that solves the fair chance argument and an increase factor of 2 or 3 wont cause a problem if you simply don't hold yourself to reaching the limit

octo I hate to be the one complaining, but I think this ship is too weak for bounty hunter. It's alright for smaller ships since they don't give as much money but I don't think we want to make the game too easy for players.

Again, only my opinion, Walt has the final say etc etc. If you're sure you want to submit it just contact me.
