Hello, so when i install mods my cosmoteer starts lagging with bigger ships like hell without mods i can play with the same ship without any problems.. i have 2 mods installed.. Pc specs; Asus geforce 1080 i7-8700k Ram 16gb
Joonal What are the mods? Some mods do really put your pc to the test.
Alpha ABH Mod and cant remember the other ones name it was a little mod with like 10 things

Joonal ABH is a really big mod, I suggest using it alone, or test first what your pc can handle. Also: bigger ships = more simulation power needed = higher chance of lag.
Joonal Cosmoteer vanilla only 397.1 MB Cosmoteer with full Abh 1447 MB Cosmoteer with Abh with terran only 916 MB Windows 10 requires 2 GB so you need at least 3 GB of RAM and 1-2 GB of video ram Even back then without mods Cosmoteer 0.9.x could easily hog up 12 GB with large ships in play and crash. It's more efficient now with the new graphic engine change but it still is CPU heavy with crew. Keep in mind complexity grows exponentially so two ships is not 2x more lagging but easily 4x more lagging.

I think a 16GB RAM is sufficient for smother performance.
