The cheerful music within the carrier drifts away, leaving only the rattling of the ship's interior structure. Within a few moments the bay door opens and the engines whine as they struggle to maintain their current altitude. The pilot turns to speak to her passengers, "This is as close as I can get, any closer and the whole navigation system 'll go haywire." The drop is steep but survivable.

...Vai´Syrn checks for defensive measurements and atmosphere, with the scanner, should there be be no atmosphere (and no notable defensive measurements) she will use the shield to project an environmental field around her and then jump, using her wings to land softly...

...Tallax begins making scans of his own in the hopes his suits systems can map the immediate entry area before drop and detect any hazards or defenses, he then speaks to the pilot: "What exactly is it that would make the navigation system go haywire if you got closer?"

Gertal looks down and shrugs, jumping from the plane, and rolling when she hits the ground, arcs of electricity spitting from her armor harmlessly. She gets to her feet and heads towards the gate.

Nidâs' activates his personal shield to brace his fall. He draws his Carbine and checks his surroundings precisely. Although the electricity that's arcing from the ground to the suit shouldn't influence any vital components, the strength of the arcs makes him a bit nervous, he proceeds to approach the gate. Nidâs' suit possesses minor scanning capabilites, which he will use to try to decipher the runic writings. Nidâs doubts he will find anything useful though.

At the point of landing an electrical charge can be pulsating throughout the floor, leading up to the gate where it suddenly stops. Archaic runes litter its copper surface.

On the Gate the following runes can be seen repeating:
᚛ᚂᚐ ᚃᚑᚂᚔ ᚄᚒᚔᚈ ᚄᚘᚒᚉᚄ ᚊᚔ ᚓᚅᚈᚏᚓᚅᚈ᚜
As all five come into close proximity of the gate, a pillar made of hard light appears behind them, its purpose appearing to be to serve as some kind of console. The electricity seems to stop for a moment before starting back up in a circle around the pillar.

And with that, Tallax also jumps and makes a combat roll upon impact with the ground, which, incombination with the suit's shock absorbers, reduces the impact force to an easily much more safe level

Pug looks at the jump that awaits him:
"Electricity? An orc can survive worse than that, I once caught an axe with my head."

Pug jumps down and does a very amateuristic combat roll. Now he just stands down there, unharmed by the fall and (almost) ignoring the electricity.

"That tickles! Hahaha, stop it!"

...Vai´Syrn walks up to the gate but keeps a respectful distance as of now, she scans the signs and aligns them on the scanner, trying to find out wether they belong to any of the languages registered in the archives or mentioned in history and attempts to make sense of them, she scratched her chin and watched the surroundings while the comparison processes did their work...

...Vai´Syrn started mumbling, looking at the results..."Seems like some sort of Offworld dialect?...no, something like morse...is this machine code? (She turned around, facing the pillar.) Is this a Vex data-conflux? Unlikely... Hm..." She stepped closer to the console-pillar, though just close enough to see what it showed...

Pug grabs his club, and delivers a mighty swing to the device. Bang!

Strangely nothing happens.
"Should I keep trying?", he asks the rest of the team.

As he hears Pug trying to break the lock with brute force, he answers his questions with a simple headshake

I want to apologize but I will not be on cosmoteer for a while. My life has gotten significantly more complicated as tragedy struck within my group of friends. I am sorry but I will return after I feel I can deliver on the standard I hold myself. To. I am so sorry to everyone who wanted to see how this played out.

(I suppose I should at least note that my character is a Blood-Vitreus, an about 2.5 meters tall mothlike humanoid, that has two legs four arms and can fold it´s wings and wear them like a royal mantle.)
