About 30 kilometres of the outer shell seemed to be nothing but solid rock, rather dense one at that, no traces of any rare resources or anything alike, which was already odd enough, though everything below that seemed to be a mix of a large variety of different metals and rare earth elements, partially refined and unrefined, enough to make any normal miner drool over his controlroom console...
Though even that was overshadowed by the core. Boze looked at the scans again, an asteroid shouldn´t have a core, not a liquid one either, just what was this thing?
The Asteroid in fact seemed to contain a core at it´s center with some sort of unidentifiable liquid, which also seemed to cause issues with scanning, so they were unable to "see" more than a few metres into the core either, which apparently measured about 1.5 by 0.7 kilometres, as well as in these lower areas there seemed to be strong electromagnetic currents going through the surrouning material, looking like a massively chaotic magnetic field of a sun...
