"I have just been informed that you will be allowed this planet, to be loaned under surveillance of the Solaric Empire, to ensure your race is all that you say it is, the planet will be ready in just under one week, will you remain here for that time?"

...his(?) expression became smoother and then he nodded apparently more to himself than to them...
"Yes, we shall await confirmation here. My race thanks you, we will send a recommendation to your superior once we have established the needed technology."

An Unkown ship appears out of nothing... and starts scanning ships and stations
scanning of the ship reveals it has no weaponry ....

we will do not mean harm, We were orderd to locate unkown factions and to make contact whit them were sorry for any hostility we may have shown

After a week has passed, the Planet is now ready for the aliens, a message is sent, and the 'roid is offered a boost out of orbit.

...a strong pulse of EM-energy radiated from the asteroid a few minutes later and the asteroid started heading towards the planet at a decent pace...

Within the Solaric Border, mining planet Sonveirus...

Three workers sit in a break room, sweating from the poor ventilation of their ecosuits. The seemingly endless line of androids working to mine the planet is mesmerizing to them...

"Do you think the line of miners will ever end?"

"Dunno..."

Meanwhile...

An operator guides a track-mounted cannon miner, keeping it from squishing the other workers.

BOOM!

It uncovers a chunk of the ground, strangely resistant to the blast. The dust flying reveals something unusual... an etching in the ground...

Overseer Styner Gryll Waved at SAMSON to shut off it's sonic cannon, the intense soundbursting in the cavern died off, and Gryll removed his Ecosuit helmet, wiping the sweat from his brow
SAMSON: "I appear to have encountered a barrier sir, shall I back up so that you may view the obstruction?"
Gryll: "Please, and careful of GEORGE when you do so"
The huge tractor mounted cannon along with it's AI cortex slowly reverses,narrowly avoiding hitting a smaller mining Android fitted with a laser ram
GEORGE: "'Ere mind where you are perambulating you great monstrosity, you nearly flattened me there"
SAMSON: "Well I cannot fathom why you were so close behind me in the first place dimwit"
GEORGE: "Who the 'ell are you calling Dimwit ya great-"
Then they both notice that Gryll is staring into the tunnel ahead...

Within the tunnel...

Gryll notices that the obstruction is composed of a black, metallic substance, resembling an armor plate of some sort. Circular etchings and lines cover the mysterious artifact... and they begin to glow purple!

bmmmm...

The artifact gives off a strange pulsating noise, shaking the ground and blurring Gryll's vision. Why does it look like it's slipping out?

(this is the third artifact, which hasn't arrived in the grand voyage event yet)

Styner steps toward the object, staring, he places an Ecosuit gloved hand on the surface of the artifact, feeling it's surface

As Styner's hands rubs the surface of the artifact, it begins to vibrate violently, creating some sort of shockwave that sends him flying back.

rumble...

The artifact shakes, smashing walls of rock as it slips out and begins to hover. It is clear that this artifact isn't your ordinary artifact.

Some time later...

The hovering artifact turns to face the sky, its runes blinking in purple. Shortly, it begins to launch quick pulses of energy at the location it faces, seemingly linking with something far, far away.

The artifact freezes for a second before bolting forwards at speeds faster than light, leaving a trail of mysterious symbols. Maybe you could track it down?

...a few hours after their departure around the hospital several hundred small DC-Droneships appear at the Solaric borders accompanied by small rift-signatures, they hail and send a transmission request labeled as "urgent"...

Here G-A fighter sub-division CR-37 of the Dimensional-Collective, we carry survivors of the Hospitalier station, awaiting target location.
...the ships indeed waited silently and dormant outside the borders, scans indicated that each ship was carrying about a dozen lifeforms, not counting the Slave-AI the ships were usually manned with...
