++EL MAINFLEET REACHING COMBAT RANGE NOW, BRACE YOURSELVES!++
EL ships drop stasis and fire, their shots arcing gracefully through space, several attack wings of cruisers split off and head for the Zankarian line whilst a phalanx of heavy cruisers powers toward the Flare Corp ships
Meanwhile, aboard Ceta's flagship;
"Mainfvrame, there appearsz to be sztructural instability in the nearby sztar, please advisze procedure"
The deep metallic voice of Ceta fills the bridge
"Actifvate a protectifve enfvelope, use the inverse particle sculpt to refvorm the star's shell and stabilise, activate alpha-grade stasis around planetary bodies to protect planetary stability and ecosystem viability, activate alpha-grade stasis around civillian installations until star has reformed, proceed with attack plan."
Suddenly Fully enclosing stasis fields blink into being aroundall planetary masses and civillian installations in the system, sealing them in timeless bubbles, those inside unaware of events passing outside, aboard "Indomitable" Commander Blak Stares in amazement.*
"Whoa what the hell, did we do that? i didn't give an order..."
"No sir, it appears... I can hardly beleive it, but the EL have put protective measures in place around all civillian installations in-system, they seem to be doing something to the Solar body as well, it appears to be stabilising."
"Now why on earth would they want to do that..."

(A Single ship can't project a field that big, you need at least five geometrically aligned, also stasis cannons don't weaken stasis fields, they just aren't stopped by them, and the only faction with stasis cannon tech are the EL, also it's going to stay that way.)
