The Captain was just sitting in his chair, silent as usual...
That was until the Xyrn Authorities decided to hail them.
"E.C.S Trailblazer, return to Hanger 14 immediately. You have not been authorized to leave the station."
Well...
"Lieutenant, send them a response." He said, as the lieutenant looked back into his console, and pressed a few buttons...
[ Transmission - Visual: Start]
"And why should I, Officer?"
He was looking at the armrest of his chair, pressing buttons, likely for a jump drive, but then he stared directly into the face of the Xyrn.
"There's so much I haven't seen. There are new adventures, new people to meet, new challenges to overcome. That's why i joined the fleet. Last night, i had an opportunity to continue doing that instead of just sitting in my chair and doing the same thing every day. So why should i stay?"
He pressed a few more buttons, and then said something to the Xyrn... "Don't get lost on your way to the next galaxy."

And with that, the Trailblazer punched a hole in space and time, went through it, and then sealed the hole, headed for the Milky Way Galaxy.
