PewPew Namek Kinda feel like hanging myself now...
My first post started with the same question you both asked me. Want proof? Have it:
CursedPh4nt0m Even if there might be a god - what made him/it/whatever come into existence?
(contiues reading)
Well you wouldn't mind waiting around 110010000 seconds till I understood all your posts, would you? Thanks, just finished. Soooo...
Namek DarkPearl I had some popcorn when I arrived too, didn't last long tho. Really can't decide whether I'm here for the others opinions or simple cause of boredom. Possibly both.
Ultranova Dibs I'd really like to hear your definitions of "wonder" and "miracle". Just this morning my mates called me beeing in time a wonder. There sure were right...
BattleCruiserCommander RedAndCosmoteer A god would have to be way more powerful than Walt currently is. He really is some great game developer tho.
FireShredder24 You want to know how anything can be still? By simply moving as fast and in the same direction as your surroundings. Problem solved, I guess.
Dibs You actually aren't hovering about the ground. At least according to the common definition of "sitting" and "hovering". You are correct that our atoms never touched the atoms of any other object tho.
PewPew Come on, you can do better than that! Mercury is moving just as much as any other matter in our universe. Everything is influenced (and moved) by at least two forces: gravity and electromagnetic interactions, which both should be known to you.
(I absolutely agree with your second paragraph! Walt is as human as you are.)
I may also explay why all the religions seem to be wrong: All of them are based on observations and experiences made by people thousands of years ago. If anyone would turn science into a religion and wait several hundrets of years, future humans would most likely find it as silly as Christianity is to us.
Well, your last paragraph seems kinda exaggerated but still okay. Guess I've got to accept your way of expressing your thoughts.
FireShredder24 Your way of thinking hurts both my eyes and my brain. Based on the matrix theory, which is the only theory involving some creator I'm willing to somehow consider possible, god wouldn't be expecially wise nor have to answer any prayers. Also he would most likely make quite some mistakes and be neither worth nor expecting to be worshipped. There might be some prayers "magically" coming true, but that most likely happens on accident, as the others won't. In my opinion your believe in god is rather baseless, unless you got some good reasons for believing in him.
