So, I'm a War Thunder player. But I've also played quite a bit of World of tanks blitz, because I need my fix even when i'm on the go. Combining the best of both worlds, here is a compilation/dump of tank memes, complete with context for those who may not understand
This is the T28 Super Heavy tank. This 86.2 (metric) ton behemoth was only built as prototypes and was somehow lost for over 20 years. Apparently, It was discovered in an OPEN field in a very INSIGNIFICANT bush. Look at that. T28 performing some extraordinary bush camping
Stug, such a good tank destroyer
Hetzer, also good tank destroyer. It's name alone is enough to make it a meme
as a primarily heavy tank player in both games, yup
Kv2, not just a regular heavy tank. It carries a howitzer. Is affectionately known as "The One-Shot Wonder" and "Stalin's Tower" and is usually accompanied by classic Soviet Russia memes. Also, Russian Tanks in World of Tanks are reputably terrible in accuracy. Since this thing has a howitzer, it is even less accurate. So the Kv2 is a literal hit or miss
Gun depression, the ability for a tank to aim downwards. Also a meme associated with an emotionally depressed tank
there were 2 prototypes of the famous Tiger Heavy Tank. This is the one that was not used. It's known for being a deisel electric and is a meme because it's a hybrid tank but mostly because the electrical system caught fire during testing and was a complete disaster
T95 Super Heavy Tank, the successor of the T28. This thing has so much armor, it's almost invincible. It's also known as the Doom Turtle, because it's so slow, well armored and is a scary sight on the battlefield
On the right is the A39 Heavy Assault Tank. It's basically the British version of the T95 and was actually nicknamed the Tortoise
In War Thunder, you have combined arms battles, tanks and planes in the same battle. If somebody drops a bomb on you or near you, you are almost always dead, or severely crippled
