"Basically, what happens, is Instead of moving faster than light, it jumps us into a fourth dimension, and simply appear at our destination moments later, regardless the distance, as we are able to sort of step around the distance."

He looked back up at Charlotte. "Now for the good news. Somebody there is still sane. A woman by the name of 'Jade'. She realizes how insane this... Ryan guy is being, and has asked my ensign, Marieth, as well as a few others, to help stop him, but without killing him." He walks up to Charlotte, and gently places his large, metal-gloved hand on her shoulder, making sure to not weigh her down. "And, ma'am..." He started. "I will do everything I can to help."
