RedAndCosmoteer There would be a way. It's really complicated and involves some huge lot of pointless work tho. Therefore I really wouldn't recommend you to not even try it, as you could simply add the parts of one mod to the other instead, saving you most of the work but prohibiting you from using the same name or sprite more than once.

(I believe jbox wouldn't want it to be compatible btw, as he made automaton to replace drones.)

yes, i am doing a necro on a kinda old post, i made a fix for automation++ (very lazy one) for 0.14.5 and 0.14.6

Seeing as this thread is semi-necro posted I would like to announce that I'm working on a not so lazy port, including several different auto-loaders, automatable flak, etc.

Minion222 The only problem with updating other people's mods for them, is that some people don't want you to update them, they just want them to crash and be forgotten.

You gotta be careful when updating mods.

Ultranova True, but automation is the kind of mod that everyone had at some point, and it's very useful with some small fighter drones. I wanted to use it in some RP even sometime, but never had the time.

Can i get some help with my mod problems? I tried to post some of the crash report in the support channel to see if i can get some help figuring it out, but it kept getting deleted. Here it is:

Also, I'm pretty sure you're using the old version. In case you didn't know, 14.5 breaks every single mod from the earlier versions. You should go here.

For anyone asking about a 0.14.5 / 0.14.6 version, please use the link above, it's an unofficial port, @jbox1 has sadly abandoned automation++, if he has an issue with my port I will remove it.
