We switch over to Group 3, where ANDOVN himself seems to be struggling with his new, extremely difficult situation. Group 2 is completely silent, and Group 1 is holed up in the first Reactor room they managed to get into. Plasma and EMP discharge, as well as Gauss and Laser fire from his own fellow androids, could be heard all around him as they made their way to a secondary reactor room - they are the only ones who have managed to successfully detonate a reactor room, and it seems the Edar have finally devoted their full attention to their boarding efforts. The EMP weaponry they brought out is severely damaging the lower-ranking androids, and even though ANDOVN and other group leaders are largely unaffected, it definitely weakens their shields, which would allow the plasma and acid to go through and chew up the armor.
Coordinator ANDOVN checks the fleet markup: The DC fleet are not having any other lucky breaks either. The transport ship and the Battleship subcore are the only operational--
The Subcore! It's highly explosive! I can use that to cause major damage to the Mining Ship... probably to its resource storage areas, so they have a lower yield from mining this planet!
The Coordinator Android takes out a psionic transmitter and broadcasts its idea to the Subcore... it agrees, and new orders are issued. ANDOVN then makes one final hail to the allied forces...

We are redirecting our Subcore to ram the Mining ship. We have also gotten notice that half the slaves have been liberated from the slave ships - that is good enough. You are being recalled and relocated to the transport, where it will Rift-jump to safety. I bid you allies farew--"

An EMP grenade detonates near ANDOVN and the discharge not only knocks out his shields, but destroys the psionic transmitter as well. The TTE and Strawberryfish forces get a minor headache as this happens, and then a feeling of loss follows, for the rest of the message was already clear. Meanwhile, ANDOVN hums with anger and activates charged blades from its multitude of arms - which, thanks to the EMP blast, are now overcharged.
"ALL SQUADS, SHOW NO MERCY. IF THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A VALHALLA, WE ARE GUARANTEED TO BE HEADING THERE BY NOW."
The Androids fight to the last unit, and the remaining Battleship Subcore goes full speed towards the Edar Mining Ship. The Transport - the only thing remaining of the Trader-Class fleet besides a partially-functional Patrol ship and a damaged Control drone, starts powering up some more systems, teleporting allied troops into it and powering up Rift-Drives.
