Two months prior to their return:
"graham, we can't survive against them
We need to devise a way of getting rid of them"
"they have that parasite right?
They are trying to cure it so here's the plan:
We fake the ISC's death
Then sabotage their Cure
Make it attack them to kill within a week"
"but they don't care about making a cure"
"then we make them care!
We already have ways of infecting them with a slightly worse strain
Then that will make them want to cure it!"
"good plan!
But they will realise if you are still alive"
"then I let my ship and me go down fighting
I'm sure they will stage a rebellion soon
Then we get some of our fleet to go attempt to assist other factions
Make it look like that's all we've got left
But in reality, we could have a huge stockpile!
Around 100 ships should do it"
The Return of the ISC
Turns out, this whole rebellion was their plan all along.
However their plan has not worked
And so they have awoken the crews in cryostasis
And proceeded to just wage war against the STE.
Currently they have 26 ships
10 capitals (majestic class)
And 16 Ildiran class ships.
Currently, they absolutely hate non humans and humanoids, including Tau's
They are the mirror opposite of the STE in this regard.
Expect lots of war coming from them...
