The Editor has been blown WAY OUT OF PROPORTION in what it can do. It can't do individual small stuff, like erasing ships or factions.
What is CAN DO is alter the local laws that govern reality and make fusion impossible, causing any local stars to blow the fuck up, or make it so that the maximum speed anything with less than a given amount of mass can travel is 5 feet a second, leaving all your cannon shots and missile as almost immobile objects.

Ultimately, it's the difference between straight up cheating and altering the underlying rules of the game.

RedAndCosmoteer YOU! You were not given permission to brag or throw my weight around without me there to approve it, and you've made this whole thing a much bigger deal than it needed to be. Do not do this again, please.
