Dumb
Aboard the lead STE ship:
"ARGH THAT BLODDY THING IS SO ANNOYING, EVERYONE TARGET THAT THING"
"Um sir, it is practically harmess"
"yeah it can't hurt us from here"
"I DONT CARE JUST SHOOT THAT THING"
The lead ship targets the ship....
Fires...
And misses.
"WHAT!!! WHY DID WE MISS"
"Probably because the targetting system doesn't know the difference between moving at 100mps or spinning at 100mps"
"THEN GET US CLOSER DAMNIT"
"AND YOU! CALL COMMAND AND TELL THEM TO SEND US A BATTLESTATION"
"THEN WE CAN SPIN TOO!"
"sir, don't you realise that the STE battlespinstation is useless?"
"THAT WAS AN ORDER!"
The STE fleet gives up shooting at the fleet, and instead starts to get in range of the megatitan
However, as long as it spins, they cannot hit it with their slow cannons.
And so, another "ship" arrives:
It immediately begins spinning and firing its guns at the megatitan
It is able to hit due to modern targetting, and railguns being fast.
As it spins, the railguns act like a gatling gun, cutting down the time between shots by half.
(works like that in game too, so is explainable here)
The STE fleet is now taking heavy damage, but acts to present more targets, thinning out fire.
