(No, Onboard FTL jammers as in, they prevent you from actually reaching faster than light speeds by shutting down FTL drives when they activate)
(The onboard jammers affect the space around the ship to disable the FTL drives from working properly, not the crew)
(Think like a speedbump slows you down, but scifi invisible and its a solid wall of concrete not just a bump)

the fleet opens up, exposing the almost 10 kilometres away frigates... then The Frigates Accelerate, Faster And Faster, Until They Ram Right Into The Enemy...

(Their Hull is thick enough to withstand this impact. They essentially used their FTL Drives to travel right under FasterThanLight, its a modification done by them thats simply called Ramming Speed.)

The "fleet" continues to stay out of weapons range, they seem to be there to prevent you from leaving, not to fight you.

I`d guess everything but the glaactica and Defender are out of the fight as well as the corvettes, they need to restabilize for at least 20 min)

The Ships ram into the Fleet, leaving only the biggst ships undamaged. But the frigates are out of the fight too, they need to restabilize. The Demolishers move in to protect them and carry the attack forwards...

Best way to model it would be to take the hull of your ramming ships, strap an extra crap ton of thrusters to them and use a mod with contact fused warheads attached to the front.

Undated_Abyss m8 that is just the cosmoteer version 😉 i rely on the GIFs... i would like to make it bigger and stronger and make even bigger battlestars like the Pegasus an Prometheus buuuut whit galactica i have like 20 fps 1/4 speed... and when it engages ina fight... oh god... 0.2 fps

Thats why you use a mod that allows you to use 1/20 speed...

When I say for size comparision, dont worry, there are bigger ships coming than the lead one of the combat patrol group.
